The Chew Chew is celebrating 28 years of great food & hospitality in the heart of Riverside, IL directed by original Chef/Owner Scott Zimmer. Located one-mile east of Brookfield Zoo, 5 miles northwest of Midway Airport and 10 miles west of Downtown Chicago. There is a Metra Train stop on our block for safe & easy access in/out of the City. We feature a multi-level dining room, vibrant full-bar & a cozy outdoor patio May-October (weather permitting). Happy Hour daily 4-6pm with beer, wine & cocktail specials. We really enjoy dining at The Chew Chew. The food is delicious! My crab stuffed rainbow trout was excellent! Our server was very attentive, too.

As always a great time. From checking in to the end of our evening there. My husband and I shared the delicious warm bread with the garlic butter. Then continued with fish n chips as well as calamari. They were accommodating about the pickles that come with the calamari so that was nice. Martini was stronger than I anticipated so only had a small portion of that. We will always return, so I will keep you posted on our next meal. Thank you Chew Chew, you are a favorite!!!

We both had the Prime Rib french dip. I think it's new on the menu since the last time we were here. It was the best French dip I've ever had, and my husband agreed. Great service as always.

Always great food. Prices are compatible to anyplace else . Just in general eating out is getting crazy expensive but this place is not more expensive than norm. Was a little louder tonight as was a big party . Service was great. Definitely one of my go tos
