   Nice decor and good vibes but food was pretty bad. Caesar salad was so salty it was basically inedible. For a $15 salad with a $9 add on for chicken I expect good quality but I only ate the chicken and was barely able to eat the salad itself because the salty was just insane. I’ve never had a salty salad before so idk what was going on with it but do not recommend.

   I had high expectations for The Charlotte on my 21st, but unfortunately, the service and food missed the mark. My food came out last, nearly two hours after we were seated and only then was I told they were out of the item I originally ordered. The replacement pasta I received honestly tasted like something from Applebee’s, and overall, nothing on the table stood out aside from the drinks. For an upscale spot, this was a major letdown. Definitely not the way I envisioned celebrating such a big milestone. Presentation was at least nice. Pictures Below.

   We sat upstairs. It was way too noisy! You could barely carry on a conversation. We ordered drinks and it took 20 minutes for them to be delivered…we had already finished our appetizer. Our server was nice but she didn’t tell us ordering a martini includes an up charge of $11 making a single martini $22! She apologized and wanted to know how she can make it right. That was very thoughtful.

   Nicole, our server, is the only reason this review is 3 stars. Just got home from dinner tonight. Made a reservation two days ago for early evening. Asked to have a bear at our table to surprise my wife and make her laugh. The restaurant called this afternoon to confirm and when I asked, they confirmed the reservation indicated we wanted a bear at our table. We arrived. At the hostess stand I said my name, "reservation for 2 @ 5:30". I guess the hostess either didn't look or didn't care. I understand that this place can also be loud later in the evening, but at 5:35, I had to almost yell at my waitress to ask to have the music turned down. The write-ups about this restaurant are spot on; the chef loves his harissa. Everything I at, calimiri and shrimp and grits, had a healthy dose of the harissa. It's not spicy hot, but it is spicy. Be warned. Thank goodness Nicole was there to take care of us, else the evening would have been worse, and this review would have even fewer stars. And yes, I am upset about not having dinner with a stuffed bear. The restaurant uses those bears a selling point. You can even buy one and take it home. And if you are going to drop $200 for dinner for 2, ask for something in your reservation that the restaurant already does daily, they confirm it 90 minutes before dinner, and then can't look it up, this is the review you get.    It’s a cute restaurant but service was alright. The waitress didn’t even acknowledge my birthday. Food was good but not the experience I was expecting for the prices. Probably would not go back
