   Arrived earlier than our scheduled reservation and they were able to seat us right away. We were celebrating my husbands birthday with a show and dinner. Staff was amazing. Rian our server was wonderful. She was Informative and attentive. Food was spectacular. Would highly recommend when in the city for the holidays or a show.

   Food was excellent as was the service. On the expensive side but the worst thing was where we were seated- on the upper floor at the top of the stairs right beside a door to an employee area which was left open with a view of all the rubbish lying on the floor. Not great for dinner. Especially in such a high end restaurant

   Steaks were cold, service was slow and they probably had them plated for a while, so even the plates were not hot. I have been to many Capital Grill restaurants around the country and this is by far the worst. Inexcusable for a steak house.

   Lobster bisque soup was cold. Calamaris were warm, definitely not freshly prepared. Our steaks were very tasty.

   Our first time dining at Capital Grille. The food was amazing! Our service on the other hand was not great. Our server seemed to forget about us. If it had not been for another server near us clearing our dirty plates, refilling our water and wine, we would have been totally ignored. It was my husband’s birthday and this celebration was not only mentioned when reserving our table, but also to our server. Nothing special was mentioned or done. I was quite disappointed. I did mention all of the above issues to the manager on duty so that this server could receive additional training.
