Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     We are a frequent guest at Capital Grill. The service was mediocre. Usually it is exceptional and professional. Oysters Rockefeller was excellent but the lobster bisques was bland. On the other hand, the Brussels sprouts and lobster Mac and cheese was overly salty. Not our usual experience.

    Excellent all-around as always! As this was New Year’s Eve,bringing my immediate family in-tow, it was very busy! However, the entire Staff handled everything with aplomb! If you are looking for a top-flight Steak House, The Capital Grille cannot be beat. While definitely “pricey”, you absolutely get all (and possibly more) than you pay for. This is my “Go To” favorite special place to patronize!

    We love Capital Grille in Lombard. We spend our anniversary here every year. The food and the service is always above and beyond and worth every penny.

    Steaks were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The twin lobster tails were delicious. Michael provided great service.

    Our waiter was very attentive without being intrusive. I ordered the Maine lobster salad and it was light and refreshing!! Overall experience was superb!

    This has been one of our favorite restaurants since it opened. I come here every time I’m in town and my brother eats here a few times a month. Normally they serve steaks on warm plates. Tonight the plates were cold. My steak filet trio was less than warm. I had to send back. Same for my son’s filet. The waitress who brought one of the sides forgot the serving spoon, so we used a small spoon. Our second bottle of wine turned out to be not so good, and the wrong wine costing $60 more than the bottle I ordered. The manager was actually very nice and refunded the difference. I know it sounds nit-picky, but when you spend $1975 on a family dinner, you expect better service and attention to detail.

    Capital Grille never disappoints. The ambience, the service, and most importantly the food was once again outstanding!!!! This is our go to restaurant for all of our special occasions as we know it will be another great experience!

    Excellent Christmas Eve meal! Even though they were very full, the service was excellent. The steak was perfect, the sides plentiful, and the cocktails well mixed.
