   A brilliant birthday treat. Four of us enjoyed a truly special meal, with a mixture of (numerous) small plates and a couple of larger dishes to share. The highlight was probably the pork cheek, but the asparagus, the croquettes and (as always) the Scotch egg from the Bar Snacks menu were also delicious (as was the Malbec). To cap it all, our shared desserts were accompanied by candles and some sweet wine. Service was ultra-friendly throughout . In short, an unforgettable evening.

   Food was tasty, but menu choice was repetitive. A lot of fried & heavy dishes. Atmosphere was erratic and unorganised- staff seemed new & lacked quality service. Our table was cold and lacked atmosphere - which was a shame, the pub side looked cosier and more inviting. Would try again & hope for better luck- but overall disappointing.

   Every plate we ordered we loved! Not a bad dish amongst a whole selection of bar snacks, canapes, small and large plates. Standouts - scotch egg, chicken bites, beef shin and prawn toast but honestly all of it was excellent. Our waiter was delightful - really efficient and friendly. The four of us had a superb evening.

   Received very warm welcome from all staff. Our server Idil (sp?) was charming and helpful. The food was delicious, especially the prawn toasts! We shared five dishes of different sizes plus a dessert and everything was yummy. Nice wine list too. I’ll be back, especially since I learned that you welcome dogs.
