    It was a little bit more busier than usual but the food was good and service was a little slower but still good. Food came out quicker and I appreciated the overall quality.

    The Block is lively! If you don't mind raising your voice when dining with a partner, The Block could work for you. We should have taken a high top in the bar rather than the deuce in the front room. Water and a menu arrived promptly. Our server was efficient and friendly, but it took quite a while to get our drinks from the bar. The main problem was that we had very little time to enjoy our salad before the entrees arrived. We would have appreciated better course timing. The shrimp & grits were outstanding. The short ribs were tender and succulent but over-salted. The broccolini was perfectly sauteed. We'll be back, but we'll sit in the bar where it seemed to be quieter.

    I’m a fan of the Block. I recently started returning back and I was so happy to have returned. My service was great l- shout out to Tyra & Michelle. Drinks always hit home!! It was trivia night and it was so much fun. Looking forward to returning soon.

    Burgers were dry and not that good. Cheesecake dessert was mushy like pudding. They were out of things we wanted.
