   We’ve eaten here before, all ok but today we felt for four adults our table was cramped, the venue was very cold all the time we were there. No heaters apparent, at least not in our area . The coffee unfortunately was awful none of us enjoyed our coffee it was bitter and not very warm. The food was nice and the service was excellent. Staff were extremely friendly and very professional. We did though think the prices were extremely high for a lunch time menu. Due to our experience today we don’t think we will be returning.

   One of my favourite local places to go for brunch, lunch or simply coffee & cake. I've been there on my own, with my husband (every week after shopping in the farm shop), with a friend or two and with a group of 15. We mostly sit indoors, but in the warmer weather it's lovely to sit outside. Whatever the permutaions my experience is the same: very good. There is plenty of parking, it's easy to book or just walk in, good food which is tasty and well presented, friendly service and the prices aren't unreasonable. I regularly recommend The Barn to people I know, but most of them already know it and go regularly themselves1

   It was a busy brunch service, staff were friendly & overall ok. I found it strange that my order of toast arrived with nothing not even butter, had to ask & small portion of ketchup to share. The coffees were all good.
