The Aperture, the first full-scale restaurant project from Chef Jordan Anthony-Brown. The menu reflects the concept of Mediterranean mezze style dining, consisting of many small plates, rustic in nature and reflective of seasonality and creates a natural progression and flow for the dining experience. The Aperture’s menu reflects three fundamental tenets: intention, balance, and focus. The menu - and its individual dishes - are approached with the objective of putting critical thought into every component, eliminating the extraneous, and ensuring a natural flow across the menu. The culinary program is heavily influenced by the cuisine of the broader Mediterranean region and the simple, seasonal cooking of Southern France, Italy, Greece, and the Levant.

    Join us on January 15th, escape the winter chill, and enjoy a five course menu made by Chef Jordan Anthony Brown in with the intention of compliment the timeless wines of WineCraft. Friend of The Aperture and WineCraft representative, Peter Wilke, has selected five wines he feels embody the energy of The Aperture. Peter will join The Aperture crew the night of the dinner to pour wines table side and delve into the nuances of each glass. There will be four savory courses and one sweet, paired with a different 2.5 oz glass of wine for each course.

    The event was amazing and even through I couldn't eat all the courses due to diet everything was amazing and I can't wait to go back.

    I had a reservation at the bar on New Year’s Eve and it was also The Aperture’s 1 year anniversary. The bartender, Duncan, took great care of me and was genuinely friendly. As I was dining solo, it was nice to have someone to chat with and the other guests at the bar were all friendly as well. The NYE 9 course tasting menu was amazing! Each of the 5 dips in the first course were delicious. The Mushroom and labneh dish was amazing! The mushroom paté with Einkorn wheat pita was also great-so flavorful! Each course was about the distinct flavors, but also how they complimented each other. By the sixth course, I was too full to finish the last three courses. Duncan packed everything for me to take home. I did decide to have the dessert - couldn’t pass up the in house Chevré ice cream paired with smoked butter cornbread on honeycrisp applesauce, topped with a creamy caramel sauce. Perfect combination! The evening was great and The Aperture offers a unique sensory food experience! I look forward to returning to see what’s new on the menu. It is great to have a restaurant that goes beyond the usual food and dining experience in Cincinnati!

    Black garlic hummus appetizer and sweet potato excellent. Polenta not good. Spaghetti barely edible. Duck pretty good, but didn’t really taste like duck. Limited wine choices, but reasonably priced.

    First time at The Aperture, and it will certainly not be our last. The drinks and food were amazing, It's a tad expensive, but a wonderful culinary experience.

    All of the food is unique and delicious. We enjoyed the hummus, sweet potato, and duck and kale pastas. But the highlight is the roasted carrots - the best ever. They have added acoustic tiles to the ceiling since we had last eaten there, and they have helped to muffle the noise in the space. A welcome improvement!

    It was a family special dinner with our boys. We basically tried everything. Loved the collar fish dish, lamb was unreal and duck was super good. Hummus dishes definitely filled our bellies too. We focused on the food but our two cocktails were delicious as well.
