   We had a lovely evening, best fish dish I had in a long time. The rest of our group had the roast and said it was amazing. We were served by Josh who was lovely and very attentive! Can’t rate it enough. Have eaten here over the years, but the food, staff and ambience were the best we have had here! Thanks all a wonderful evening, eating drinking playing cards and hiding from the dreadful wind and rain!

   We had a wonderful 3 courses today at lunchtime - it was all superb with a very warm welcome and friendly efficient staff and service. The roast beef dinner was delicious, everything cooked so well and just when we thought things couldn’t get much better….along comes that big bowl of sticky toffee pudding heaven! We have eaten here a few times over the years when visiting the area and every time has been top notch.

   Market fish was a good price. I added a side of potatoes to make it a more substantial meal. My husband had fish snd chips which he enjoyed.

   Thank you to the lovely staff today. You were able to modify our table to a table of 4 last minute which we were so grateful for! The service was amazing, so helpful, fun and polite. Thank you for coming back to check on us and offering more drinks throughout our meal. The food was outstanding, as always! We can’t wait to return.

   Lovely pub with amazing food and very friendly staff. Although food and drink on the expensive side would definitely recommend as a treat whilst in the location. Highly recommend to book in advance as a lot of people turned away even though it was middle of February as only 45 covers inside the pub - may be ok in summertime when warm enough to sit outside! :-)
