"The Club" changed hands again in 1992 when another local, Leon Grissom, purchased it trying his hand at running the steak house. Then in 1995, Texas natives, Jack and Mary Evans, bought "The Club" and brought in Linda Kelso from Dallas to run the kitchen. After one year, Jack and Mary decided being a restaurateur was not for them, so they sold it to Linda. She turned "The Texas Club" into what most people know it as today. Then in 2005 Linda sold the business to its current owners. While "The Club" has changed hands a few times over the years, it has always been the best place in town to find the most choice steaks, the freshest seafood, and finest wines and cocktails.

I had heard good things about The Texas Club so I decided to make a reservation for my wife’s birthday dinner. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, our expectations were exceeded. I had left a note on the reservation that it was my wife’s birthday and not only did everyone wish her a Happy Birthday, they sat us at a table with a nice view. The staff was amiable and welcoming and the food was, in short, delectable. From appetizers, to the main course, to dessert, we were beyond satisfied. I also want to especially thank our server, Itzel, who was gracious and attentive. We will absolutely return with more people next visit and hopefully will have the opportunity to be taken care of by her again, she is a true asset to that staff, helping us decide what to order with spot on recommendations. 10/10 - Can’t wait to enjoy again! Thank you!

We really enjoyed dining at the Texas Club. The hostess who greeted us was very welcoming and showed us right to our table. Our server Michael was excellent and attentive. He went above and beyond by helping us surprise our daughter by prepping and presenting her birthday cake. The food, as always, was delicious and prepared perfectly. The variety of choices met everyone's expectations. We will be returning often!

Reservation not honored. Walk in arrivals seated before us and a 1.5 hour wait. Food took forever and the steakhouse ran out of ribeye and other meats. My dates mood was completely ruined and ended up fighting about how everything at the steakhouse was handled. Every single table around us was experiencing the same thing. It was like a scene out of Ramsey Kitchen Nightmares. You shouldn’t have to pay $$$ to go to a steakhouse and pay attention the whole time about the service and food.

I feel sorry for the servers. The kitchen manager apparently puts in the tickets however she pleases and doesn't go in order of tickets received. Our server had to explain to us and the table next to us why it was taking so long (over an hour and a half for 3 entrees) to get out to us. Poorly ran.

Grossly understaffed and sat next to a party of 30. Once we hadn’t received a visit from a waitress after 30 minutes we asked to be moved to another area. Very disappointing
