Deli-cafe by day, elegant-restaurant by night. Tesoro Gastronomia is a testament to the belief that a dining experience need not be fussy to be fantastic.

The seasonal menu pays homage to our Italian roots, presented in a modern context, we explore Italian cuisine's greatest hits whilst taking advantage of the beauty and bounty of seasonal local ingredients.

Tesoro exists to share our passion for the beauty and simplicity of Italian cuisine, and 100% of profits are either donated to local charities or used to sponsor the arts & events in the local community. As a collective, we recognise that our parents & grandparents sacrificed to give our generation the gifts of opportunity & prosperity; so Tesoro was created in their honour to pay their legacy forward.

    We had our directors and partners lunch at the restaurant today 11 December and it was excellent. Food was fresh and absolutely delicious, wine list excellent and we all walked away happy. Lastly, the Tesoro Christmas hampers were very well received. Thank you to the TG team.

    Delicious pizza and pasta and friendly staff. Unique toppings and crust on the pizza worth returning for. Recommend going in a largish group to make the most of trying flavour varieties. We were outside on a warm night. A bit of traffic noise but not too bad. Ambience may be nicer inside. Staff very friendly and helpful and food arrived in good time, despite it being a very busy night. Definitely returning.

    Tesoro Gastronomia is a really fun restaurant with stunning food and amazing staff. It's a beautiful space and the food was incredible. We had the best team Christmas party and we'll all be back for sure! It feels like a little slice of Italy right here in Melbourne <3

    Lovely food, atmosphere & attentive staff made for a lovely dinner. Pricing of food is good, sizing is just right & very tasty. Simple Italian inspired decor makes for a lovely setting & fun caring staff ensured great service.

    I did not have any particular expectations- but was pleasantly surprised by the deliciousness of the food, the excellent options for a large group (n=10) and the professionalism of the staff. All exceeded what i hoped for and I will definitely come again.

    Hadn't been here for a while and bought a friend who had not been here at all. She loved it and wants to try dinner here on a Friday night in a few weeks. This was late breakfast and I had a savoury muffin and my friend had a frittata. Both were ex cellent and the coffees were great. I then found space for a beautiful cannoli and she had tiramisu which she said was "to die for". The personnel are friendly but not intrusive and there is plenty of merchandise to look at as well as prepared food to take home. Casual but a bit special too...love it.
