   Service felt rude and rushed. The waiter did not offer a dessert menu and brought us a check without asking if we were finished.

   i shared a meal with a friend and the atmosphere was perfect for lunch on an early springtime afternoon. The food was perfect (two types of salads) and the service was exactly how it's supposed to be. A manager even stopped by to see how everything was (management by walking around). Terrific experience!

   Music was too loud. Mussel appetizer came with huge amount of bread with a tasteless oily spread. No heat. Kale salad was enjoyed by the table.

   Got there early and the menu was brunch. Told us if we wanted to look over dinner menu which started in 10 minutes. Kate was our waitress and was delightful. Explained everything and took her time with us. The drinks were great and appetizers delicious. The main courses were different and delicious. The mussels were great and done with tomatoes in a sausage out of the shells. Coffee excellent and the terrarium dessert delicious . Looking forward to next visit

   The hostess may have seen my Open Table request and held a table in the dining room by the glass door. It was lovely. Our server, Phoenix, was friendly and attentive. He was a breath of fresh air. The food came out expeditiously and was delicious. The flower pot bread was perfection. Thank you, Terrain, for a lovely lunch. 🙂

   There is no more charming a restaurant on the planet! I feel forever grateful that while on a trip to visit a sister of mine in Pennsylvania I learned of Terrain and visited that location. To my delight I learned that Terrain had a location right here in CT…and while a bit of a drive…well worth the trip to Westport from the Mystic CT area! I have never been disappointed…and make a fabulous day of it, as I did again today. The menu and service are exceptional. Just the best ever with such creative dishes! So good! And the gift shop…no joke wonderful…I always come away with something special!!!

    Had a lovely birthday brunch for two at Terrain Cafe. We’d shopped the store previously but this was our first time in the cafe. The whole meal was creatively prepared with complex but not overwhelming flavors. Everything from the drinks to the mains and the amazing chocolate terrarium dessert was beautiful and tasty. Our server Soledad was lovely - attentive and charming. Then we went into the shop and loaded up on late winter pick me ups!
