   There were 3 of us, and I made a reservation for lunch. We were glad we reserved since the restaurant was almost full. 2 of us had delicious cocktails, a pomegranate mule and a winter citrus margarita. Both were delicious! We tried the mushroom soup, which was outstanding, the pot pie, beet salad with Buratta and a Caesar salad. All were very good, and the portions were large. With the 2 cocktails and a beer, the bill was $103 before tip. We will definitely return!

   Terrain’s food was very good. My partner’s Frittata was a bit overdone but my pasta (mushroom:butternut squash) was excellent. The flower pot bread with house-made butter was wonderful. Fresh, tasty, creamy. Appetizer Fried Quinoa with the yogurt sauce was lovely. Our server Luci was such a kind soul; catered to our needs and was very engaging and attentive. The ambiance was serene, incorporated horticulture and very beautiful.

   We had a wonderful lunch today. Both the food and the service were fabulous. I wish I would’ve gotten our servers name as she was really excellent and gave us Terrific suggestions. Thank you!

   We will not go back. Very disappointing from the get go. It took thirty minutes to get our drink order and the server did not know which wine was which or whose was whose-they were repoured. Then one of our salads was brought along with one of our entrees. We said we wanted the salad prior to our entrees and the server said “well what do you want me to do?” We said take the entree back and bring the other salad both of which we had said we were splitting per couple. We were told they don’t split salads. We had to ask for extra plates and then split the salads ourselves which were wilted and drenched in dressing. A requested second glass of wine was never delivered. The entrees were finally brought out. I had explained that I had a nut allergy when I ordered the halibut and asked that the almond not be included. My entree was cold upon taste so I sent it back while my spouse and our friends ate their entrees which they said were average at best. After quite some time the manager came to the table and said they were remaking my fish because the chef had forgotten about the nut allergy and had made it with almond. I was horrified. Thank goodness I had not eaten more than a taste. Allergies are life threatening and need to be taken seriously. The manager did apologize for all the mishaps and the total bill was not charged however the entire experience was unsatisfactory and for one of us dangerous.

    Amazing experience. I have been there at least 6 times this year. Fall menu including fall cocktails is okay. I am hoping it will change for some old favorites.
