   The food was sub par and disappointing for such an establishment that prides on its reputation for crafting local and seasonal ingredients. However, that was clearly not evident in the execution of the foods that were served. Starting with the bread pot, the bread was dry and lacked any moisture and flavor. The only thing that saved it was the maple butter but one has to douse the bread with it to keep eating it. Then there was the Brussels sprouts. I would not have guessed that they were deep fried considering that they were still undercooked and crunchy. It was hard to bite down and chew, which fails on so many basic cooking standards. My friend ordered the chicken pot pie and it looked very underwhelming and plain. She said it wasn’t that good and the sauce was more like a watery broth. She asked for a spoon but the server forgot to bring it. I got the beef short ribs and read reviews that it was dry. Reluctantly, I got it since the server said it’s a popular dish. Well, it was tough on the inside and lacked flavor. We shared the chocolate terrarium and everyone did not like it. There was no balance of flavors and it was so dry. I’m shocked by the lack of attention to details from the kitchen staff. They could do a better job at preparing these dishes that cost more than the average dish at a similar restaurant. I would not recommend this place. There’s no value nor quality here.

   Beautiful & relaxing ambiance- a greenhouse filled with plants and soft lights. Menu with variety and creativity. Fun cocktails. Pleasant staff.

   If you love mushroom soup - Terrain has some of the best! I never eat bread at a restaurant , but when you bake it in a clay pot and add the most flavorful butter - it’s heaven. (And worth the calories) We had a wonderful lunch and will definitely return !
