   The food wasn’t good for the price. I would suggest going here just for the ambiance or just for drinks.

   We had a great experience last night. The views are amazing and the service was awesome. Tony was our server. He was knowledgeable, fun and very personable! He made our night special!

   Food was not coursed properly. I had to get up and find someone to help as we received a cold, bland entree, to be shared, before any appetizers or salad arrived. No one came around to refill water. We were rarely checked on or asked if we needed anything additional. For $200, it was fine, but that isn’t a ringing endorsement. Had much higher expectations. Unlikely to return

   my reservation was for 9:45 pm and we only sat down at 10:15 pm, the waiter told us that we could only order drinks and food until 10:30 pm, ok. we ordered two starters and a proseco. He took the order and after a while informed us that the Japanese kitchen had closed at 9:30 pm and there was no way to make one of the starters, as well as the proseco we chose. ok for the second time. We changed the starter and the proseco, we had to quickly order the mains and the dessert too, we asked, the answer: we don't have that dessert, it's over, ok for the third time, we gave up on the dessert. In the end we asked for part of the bill to be transferred to the card and the rest in cash, it was a huge mess and it took about 20 minutes for the manager to come and tell us that they transferred everything to the card and refunded it and that we should pay again using another card, we had to Paying in the confidence that the amount will be reimbursed (which we were told would happen in two days), I found it all a big shame, given the amount charged!

   Everything on the menu we had was fantastic. A large variety for Breakfast and/or brunch. Slightly large portions. Service was top notch. Not a loud atmosphere at all. The view of the city was 2nd to none!

   Poor service, too much time to wait. Poor Avocado toast. Poor chocolate cake. Everything was so bad. Like if we are transparent.

   Great experience! From the time we met the hostess until we left, was exceptional. First, I completely screwed up and didn't leave us enough time to eat and get to a CSO concert. When I realized this, the hostess went above and beyond to make it all work out. She sat us quickly, alerted the wait staff, made sure our check was paid before we were done eating so we could bolt out the door. The food was excellent and came quickly, view amazing and staff was so nice. Thank you for helping us, it made all the difference!

    Is one might expect eating at the Trump is usually expensive. My only concern was that the food was good but not great. A $23 French toast should be brioche bread thick cut not standard bread standard slices. The bacon was cool if not cold. Which of course means it was made in bulk at an earlier time. We waited nearly 40 minutes for our food and regardless of how busy you are they should’ve made the food fresh. Especially when it was ordered à la cart and we paid à la cart prices. The view is priceless and the facility itself is beautiful. One can’t complain about seeing Lake Michigan from their window while eating breakfast. Coffee was excellent if a little weak. But that’s just a personal preference. Premium pricing is acceptable under the circumstances but not with the current quality of food. This was average food in a above average setting and left us wanting for something a little more exciting and interesting. I could understand if it was a buffet but to serve cool or relatively older food rather than freshly make it and preserve it to the table piping hot is not acceptable. Still a great experience.
