Jacob D was awesome and the entire team was available to us. The focaccia was excellent, and I’m Italian! We split the Caccio Pepe and it was nice and hot. We also split the Gin salad. My cousin loved it and she was from out of town. Well oiled team. The one thing I wish was on the menu was the grilled octopus, which is excellent here. The menu had it with a carpaccio.

The food was delicious and the restaurant was gorgeous, only thing that wasn’t great was the service. Our server might’ve been having an off/bad day or something but we received very poor service from him. Other than the service, the food was amazing!

We chose Terra at Eataly for a special Mother’s Day brunch and left extremely disappointed. Despite having a reservation, we were seated 30 minutes late—and only after they oddly asked to “take down our name again,” which didn’t inspire confidence in their organization. We were also surprised to learn that brunch was buffet-only, something never explained in advance. The setup was confusing and clearly not designed for buffet service; guests were unsure where to line up, and there was no clear flow. With a baby in tow, we had to take turns going to the buffet, resulting in an awkward and disconnected meal with one couple eating while the other waited and vice versa. This completely defeated the purpose of a shared Mother’s Day celebration. The food, unfortunately, didn’t make up for the logistical mess. Past visits offered flavorful dishes from the menu, but the buffet was underwhelming at best. Eggs were listed on the menu but never presented until we asked—at which point staff seemed annoyed. Coffee was supposedly included, but espresso drinks were added to our bill without warning. Water was only refilled when we managed to track down our server. The final insult: a $480 bill for four, including automatic gratuity with no discussion or option to adjust based on the lackluster experience. This visit was a far cry from our previous meals here. For what we paid, we expected organization, clear communication, attentive service, and, above all, quality food. Sadly, we received none of those—and we won’t be returning.

I was disappointed with everything about our visit to Terra on Mother’s Day. It was so chaotic that it was actually depressing. For context, my sister and I decided to dine together with my son, as this was our first Mother’s Day since our mother’s death. We were expecting a smooth and delicious dining experience. Instead, we waited in a line with no explanation for about 30 min. I heard from another guest that Terra’s reservation system — ok, that’s not their fault. Although I couldn’t figure out why they just couldn’t seat people the old fashioned way. But beyond that, once we were seated it took too long for our distracted server to ask us what we wanted to drink, and then it took AT LEAST 30 min for those drinks to make it out, and that was only after a woman identifying herself as a manager went to check on them for us. We never saw our server again during the meal. We didn’t know you had to order eggs from her, so we walked around looking for eggs all over the place. That same manager put in a scrambled egg order for us. It took a long time, and they came out brown and overcooked — inedible. Several food items in the buffet line at the time we entered (around 12:15-12:30ish) were cold and looked unappetizing - as if they’d been sitting there for hours. The lasagna and another pasta I tried were not remotely warm and just were not satisfying…several times we went to get coffee — and they were out of coffee! They couldn’t keep up with their guests’ desire to drink coffee at brunch! So we had to get up over and over and walk back to the front hoping the coffee was replenished. I finally got ONE cup, after I had already eaten my meal. At this point we were just defeated. It truly was not a good experience. All the criss crossing around the restaurant looking for eggs, food, coffee, dessert — just exhausting. And having to dodge the other customers and the feverish staff members added to the exhaustion. I don’t think I could go there again on a big event day.

Too expensive for the quality of food served. The focaccia tasted dry and bland, like it was a few days old. The lamb skewers came with all the seasoning on the side so those were bland too until I noticed the pile of spices underneath and seasoned them myself, and mushroom pasta had a funk reminiscent of 1990s beef stroganoff. The cocktail I ordered at the beginning didn’t arrive until our entrées so just overall was disappointing especially for a rare date night out without kids.

We just didn’t enjoy the food. I also believe it was very over priced for the serving size

Great server. Superior food. Best tiramisau I've ever had to include in Rome. Prices are pretty steep, but we thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday lunch.

We had a delicious lumch at Terra at Eataly in Dallas. The Cavatini Ragu was great as was the focaccia bread. We highly recommend this restaurant.
