temper Paddington is the latest addition to the award-winning temper group of smokehouses, serving up steak that is aged and butchered in-house, smoked meats, tacos, Sunday roasts and a bottomless Saturday brunch, plus mezcal and tequila cocktails both in the restaurant and in the bar.

We experienced excellent service and delicious food at Temper. Our server, Jordan, did a great job of explaining the menu, and the grass-fed beef was delicious. We definitely plan a return visit to this hidden gem.

Had a great experience at Temper Shoreditch so was excited to try Paddington. Service here was extremely poor with long waits for anyone to look remotely interested in taking an order. Staff did not look happy working and this translated to a negative customer interaction. No ambience/atmosphere inside on what was a sunny Friday night where it would be expected there’d be a positive buzz. Food was fine but lack of service means I wouldn’t go back.

Restaurant was deserted so the atmosphere was lacking from the start. Service was ok. The young lady who greeted us and showed us to our table is very good at her job; friendly out going and made us feel very welcome. The food wasn’t great. 2 of our dishes and a salad were literally covered in seeds. It was so bad that we tried to shake off the seeds for every forkful as we could taste the actual food only the seeds. The margaritas we were served were 25% more expensive than the ones we wanted which were not available due to a broken blender. They were also the smallest margaritas we have ever been served. Take out the ice and it would have comfortably fit in a shot glass.

Temper Paddington in gorgeous sunshine with a splendid lunch by Piotr and his Team... genius. What a deal Steak and Chips, superb, but we added a few more treats... the brilliant Cheeseburger Taco was lively and unctuous and the rich indulgence of the burnt squash salad was so deeply satisfying. Can't get enough of Temper's food. It never gets old. Especially with the thoughtfulness of the wonderful team 'out front'. Great work Temper. Thanks.

Not a patch on the Covent Garden or soho branches. Not sure that we would return. Service friendly but feels like an average restaurant chain coming to the end of its shelf life. Price point relative to the food.
