First Time Dining was better than expected. My nephew, visiting from Arizona, and I dined at Ted's. Although I am a long-term resident of DC, I have never eaten at Ted's. We arrived a half hour early on a Saturday night and were seated immediately. Our server was Emma, who was efficient, helpful and cheerful. We split two starters, the Harvest Salad (highly recommended) and calamari. For mains, I had the Chicken Piccata Pasta (it could have been a bit more flavorful); my nephew had the Seabass which he really enjoyed. Dessert was coffee and sharing Coconut Cake ( a huge slice!) and Key Lime Pie. I didn't know what to expect at Ted's and only knew it as a place that served breakfast all day. Very enjoyable experience.

We waited a long time for a table despite having a reservation and then felt rushed as soon as we sat down. Drinks were slow to come, some were wrong, but we were pressured to order our food some of which came before the drinks. Food was good, not great.

Review for Ted’s Bulletin My experience at Ted’s Bulletin was very good. I arrived around 10:30 am and was seated right away for my reservation while I waited on my son to join me. The server was exceptional across the board—attentive and friendly. The food was delicious! I had the steak, eggs, and potatoes, which were exquisite, and my son had the chicken and waffles, which he really enjoyed. The strawberry milkshake was the perfect finishing touch as we celebrated my son’s 25th birthday. The noise level was non-existent, which made for a calm, pleasant experience. There were a few people already dining when I arrived, and by the time we were leaving, I noticed the lunch rush had begun. The food prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. I would definitely dine here again and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxed yet delicious brunch spot.

Food and atmosphere was excellent! The drinks are really creative. Service was just okay. The server did not check on us to see if we needed anything after the food was served. We just went with without what would have been requested. After a fairly slow service, we were then kind of rushed to pay. It was a birthday dinner for my nephew. There was no acknowledgement of his birthday. Actually, the server did wish him happy birthday but the restaurant didn't offer a treat or anything complimentary to make him feel special. Such are the times, I guess. I would return for drinks at the bar but probably not for dinner. Definitely not to celebrate a special occasion.
