   Excellent food. Great ambiance for me. May not fit everyone (not quiet). Service was attentive, although they forgot my side.

   My friend and I were seated outside at a corner table in the sun on a gorgeous day! Awesome!! Maybe the best seat in the house that day. My daughter joined later. We started with wine & cocktails. Then ordered starters. We had the giant meatball - delish! Whipped ricotta, unexpectedly sweet, the arugula seemed to tone down the sweetness. Still, very good. Lastly, we ordered Burrata & prosciutto. The waiter did ask about food allergies and I mentioned pine nite to which I’m allergic. The burrata was surrounded with pesto which is a nice touch but I’m pretty sure pesto has pine nuts. I’m not 100% that Taverns pesto has pine nuts but most does. Just be careful and double check for yourself if you have food allergies or concerns. I didn’t eat any just to be safe and this in no way put a damper on our evening. We all had a great time! Welcome back to the neighborhood, Tavern! We missed you. Sorry it took so long to come visit. We’ll be back. 👍🏻😁

   We enjoyed our lunch on St. Patrick's Day; the food was great; our server, Roberto P., was excellent -- very knowledgeable, friendly, pleasant and patient.

   We were not very happy with the service. There was a delay in getting our final course and receiving the check. It was very noisy.

   Hello Mary, We're truly sorry to hear about your recent experience at Tavern on Rush. I do see that your visit fell on St.Patricks day weekend. We did experience some technical difficulties with our printers on the 15th which did affect our ability to get food prepared and out promptly to our guests. As a team, we did attempt to remedy this issue to the best of our abilities but nonetheless this issue did affect service that particular afternoon. I do apologize. I understand that waiting for your food and the check can be frustrating and I want you to know that what you experienced is not the "norm" for service standards at Tavern.    Very inviting experience. Entire staff was attentive. Food was delicious and they even made my wife feel special for her birthday.

    My martini glass had lipstick stains on the rim. The waiter had an attitude toward me when I showed him the lipstick stains on the glass. The service didn’t come over to take our order until 20 min in. The table next to us ordered and received their food before we even received our drinks. We were waiting for one hour to receive our appetizer but at that point decided to get up and leave.

There are no excuses for any of the above which you and your guest experienced.
