   My daughter and I had dinner at Littleton‘s Tavern in the Square on a Wednesday night following a movie at the cinema just up the hill. Our server, Tennille (guessing at the spelling of her name, sorry!) was wonderful! Her smile and greeting immediately made our night - as she approached and welcomed us, she genuinely looked so happy to see us, and so happy to be there herself! What a lovely person - amazing hospitality! The food was great, too! I had the kale salad with grilled chicken and a cranberry balsamic vinaigrette. Every bite was delicious! Sometimes when a restaurant offers a side of grilled chicken with a salad it’s not so good - this was very nicely seasoned and charred. My daughter ordered the ahi tuna bowl, which she also loved! The kitchen forgot to include the aïoli, but Tennille was happy to bring it to our table afterward. The restaurant was pretty crowded, and a little loud, but our wonderful server and the great food made it a very nice experience!

   What’s an amazing experience! I haven’t been here in a few years. We had a gathering on a bunch of old friends that was most excellent. Great to see everyone. The staff treated us with lots of respect. Gave us lots of time to talk and catch up and tell stories and just have a good time. Thanks again for an awesome experience!!!

   We usually go for brunch on Sunday since we cook our breakfasts at home all week long. It's a treat. We usually get a hot drink, tea or coffee. Very rarely do we ever get a spoon. Salt and pepper are never on the table. I think the wait staff should offer a spoon when we order a hot drink, and salt and pepper or other condiments when you place the order. That said, our breakfasts were pretty good, they were both not delivered together. Turns out my wife's order was sent to another table because somebody else ordered the same thing.

   We only stop here in our way home from a sports tournament. We can always estimate our arrival, grab a reservation, and get in and get out in a reasonable time. We still have a drive to get home from here so nice to have a place with a variety of food and we can get back on the road quick without having to eat fast food.

   Service was incredibly slow. Our food took 50 minutes to arrive after ordering. We ate and all enjoyed but once we were finished our plates sat for 20 minutes while our server just kept walking by not noticing. It seemed busy as we were leaving but we were only the fifth party when we arrived. No excuse

   food and service were fine but the volume on the televisions was so loud we couldn’t talk or hear the other couple that came with us. We will wait until the outside patio opens if we return. it is too bad since we enjoyed the meal but the noise level was head splitting for all of us, including the men who enjoy being able to watch the Patriots but did not appreciate how loud it was

   The food is delicious. They also have an excellent selection of beer. The lighting was perfect and it was not too noisy to engage in conversation.

   The food and service was good as usual. However, I requested a standard table and was seated at a high table facing the front doors which made it impossible to see our party sitting on the other side of the table the entire meal as the sunset. Which was during our entire meal.

    We went brunch. I had the Tavern skillet, scrambled eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes and bacon. My wife had the Benedict breakfast. Both meals were delicious, service was good, although food was a little slow coming. One thing. Spoons. We always order a hot tea or coffee. Most times we have to ask for a spoon.
