   My birthday dinner couldn’t have been better. Everything from the moment we walked in was perfect—the food, Antonio’s service, the atmosphere were all top notch.

   Food tasted better than during the summer months . Had a hard time understanding our server. ( language barrier) Noise level is always a little loud unfortunately it seems no matter where we sit . Many large tables / large groups grouped in with small tables so if you are on a date or wanting conversation it’s often impossible. The bar is always loud but I understand that. With all that said we do still enjoy the tarpon .

   We sat out on a screened in porch, hoping to see the sunset. However, it was blocked by their annual Christmas gathering. I understand those things happen, but what was very annoying and disrupted the dinner too much. Was everyone coming and going right past the table — servers, especially and then other guest coming, going to the bar. A configuration of the tables might have avoided this instead of putting the large ones at the front by the window to put two smaller ones where people were out of the path. The food was delicious but a little on the pricey side.

   We had a lovely evening with friends. The ambiance of the Tarpon Lodge is reminiscent of Olde Florida. Not many venues like this left. The food was excellent as was the service of our server Kris. Highly recommended.

   The filet mignon was outstanding. Always nice to walk the grounds and enjoy the spectacular view. Get the Cabbage Creeper!

   We had an excellent dinner on a Saturday night. About 30 minutes after we sat down, the sun set and it was beautiful!!! Our server was very attentive to our needs and our beverages were filled quickly, our table was cleared of used utensils when we were done with them, and anything we needed was quickly taken care of. The bread and special butter was awesome and we could have just eaten that and been full. Chicken, triple tail fish and Key Lime Pine was delicious. The broccolini could have been cooked a little more but it was still very tasty. Overall an excellent dining experience!!

   I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tarpon Lodge Restaurant, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! The ambiance of the restaurant is simply stunning, with a charming, rustic feel that perfectly complements the beautiful surroundings. Whether you're dining inside or enjoying the outdoor patio, you’ll be treated to a peaceful view of the water and nature. Don't forget the mango jalapeno margarita! Delicious! The service was top-notch — our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. We started with a delicious appetizer of fresh triple tail. For the main course, we had steak and fresh catch, and it was absolutely divine. The seafood was incredibly fresh, and the steak was cooked to perfection, with just the right balance of flavors. One of the highlights of the meal was the dessert — the key lime pie was hands-down the best! It was light, tart, and just the right amount of sweetness, making for the perfect ending to a memorable meal. I also appreciated the restaurant's commitment to using fresh, local ingredients, which really shines through in every dish. It’s clear that the chefs at Tarpon Lodge take great pride in their work. If you’re looking for a laid-back yet elegant dining experience with outstanding food and service, I highly recommend Tarpon Lodge Restaurant. I can’t wait to return!
