   Limited dinner menu but good food and service. Expect a dining hall of tables in rows for hotel guests rather than the cozy corner nooks of softly lit booths that you might find at other similarly priced spots.

   I love to give five star ratings when they are deserved, but in our particular case there was not much which was five stars about our experience. The ambiance was not that special (the tables were effectively barren) the service was pretty slow, and the food was OK, but quite underwhelming (we had the chef’s salad - which was excellent, the portobello burger and fries - the fries seemed weirdly “gritty” and undercooked - and the pork dish - the star of that dish was the perfectly cooked carrots). And the prices were far from cheap, meaning that very high expectations are entirely justified. We had seen a 4.6 rating somewhere before making the reservation, but the dining experience just wasn’t special. LOVED the grounds and the views though!

   Service was excellent but the food was less desirable the cold cuts tasted old and looked like it had been sitting for a very long time. The omelette was overcooked mushrooms weren’t fresh neither was the ham or bacon. Overall disappointing

    The description and fotos vs actual setting were very different. Diner was outside. Indoors was closed. Night was cold. It was a buffet. Food was served cold. Not a great experience.
