Sushi-San was an incredible experience! Watching the sushi being made fresh right in front of me was such a treat—absolutely top-notch. The drinks, food, and music created an energetic vibe that made me want to dance while savoring every bite. Everything exceeded expectations, and nothing fell short. I can’t wait to visit again the next time I’m in Chicago!

On visits to Chicago, Sushi-San is a regular stop for dinner. Always good. Fish is extremely fresh and generously portioned. Packed on weekends (make a reservation). Energetic. Great place for those who are gluten free, menu is clearly marked, staff knowledgeable. Looking forward to their new location in Nashville in 2025.

Despite the wait and the service not being amazing. The Brussels sprouts flakes were creepy looking due to it moving but over all great food

our waitress was Ok but the bar staff was out of control. first time in my life i heard the phrase “i’ll pass on your order to your server” about a beer from a bartender. also the first time in my life ive had a bartender take away my glass without asking if i wanted another. had 4 courses, only checked in twice and by our server, not the bar staff. the staff appears to congregate at the end of the bar and talk to each other rather than attend to customers. it was infuriating. food is consistently good though.
