Supernormal is open from Monday-Saturday from 12pm until 10:30pm.

We take reservations for parties of up to 6 guests.
At lunch we offer a selection of Supernormal favourites alongside our signature ramen from Monday - Friday between 12pm and 3pm.
We offer our banquet menu at $65 per person exclusively at dinner

Supernormal offers a personal interpretation of chef Andrew McConnell’s favourite Asian eating experiences drawing on his years spent working and living in Shanghai and Hong Kong.

Food as usual was outstanding. Had the Covid-19 banquet which was too much for us to eat but they offered us the last 2 courses packaged to take home which we did. One small annoyance was that the Lobster Rolls were not in the banquet so we (of course) added them to our meal. A very good night once again.

This is the first time I went to Supernormal after Covid started, and due to social distancing our table was in the smaller function room downstairs. That said I'm pretty sure there were more people than 1 per 4 Sqm, but the tables were spaced apart wider than usual. The food and service as always is the best. This is one of my favourite restaurants, and I can't wait to go back again. We had the lobster rolls, prawn and chicken dumplings, Szechuan noodle salad and the lamb. Yum!!

Excellent food, beautifully presented and did not overwhelm with portion size. Highly recommend the flouder and the roasted pumpkin seeds were delicious! A half bottle of excellent quality white wine balanced the food nicely. The service was very good, did not feel rushed in any way, and food was served just as one felt ready to try something else. An indulgent dessert was a nice way to finish the meal for those with a sweet tooth.

Disappointed that we were in the basement. No ambience. Wasn’t allowed to choose a different main in a group of4.

Great food all their classics on their current menu Well priced & lovely service ! We were seated downstairs which lacks ambience compared to upstairs but we appreciated that their was no time limit with current restrictions. Strong health safety focus with hi tech temp testing. Consistently good experience
