   My boyfriend and I went for Valentine’s Day. Food and margaritas were amazing. We even ordered some chile rellenos to go. Everything was great except there were some other customers being really rude and screaming (obviously drunk). Other couples were to trying to have a nice meal (love was def in the air) but,from my POV, the waiter should’ve cut them off when they ordered another bottle. They had no reason to yell when they’re sitting 6 inches apart from each others faces. A few employees turned their heads but didn’t do anything. If ida had one more margarita, ida told them myself.

   This our first time ever dining at any of the Superior Grills. We were a bit wary, due to the high number of negative reviews mixed in with an equal number of very positive reviews. Luckily, the positive reviews were spot on. We began by taking advantage of the new reservation system. When we tried to go in the past, reservations were not available and we were unwilling to wait over an hour for a table. This time we of course walked in the wrong door, but were very politely escorted to the front desk and then quickly to our table. Our server Blain was friendly and professional. There was lots of help, bringing us chips and salsa followed quickly by delicious margaritas. Blain gave us a few minutes to check out the menu, answered all of our questions and brought our orders out on time. I can’t speak for other customer experiences, but our dinner at Superior Grill was one of the best we’ve enjoyed recently. Besides being a bit noisy (which so many have become) and a bit on the expensive side compared to other Mexican restaurants, we had a wonderful time with excellent food and drink. We will definitely return!

   This is a loud busy restaurant which we knew. We were offered and ordered happy hour drinks then several minutes later waiter advised he couldn’t do happy hour as it had just expired seconds ago (perhaps they might have honored his offer since he made it when happy hour was still happening). We were a party of 5 seated at a table for 4 so space around table was very limited. Glassware and plates were never bussed from the table until the next course arrived and even then we had to hand them to our waiter and ask that they be taken in order to make room for what was arriving. Worst of all waiter brought one person’s order completely wrong but did offer to get the correct order - cheese enchilada platter. Simple dish but they arrived over 30 minutes later after everyone in our party had completed dining, and they were missing one enchilada, the beans were not on the plate and it appeared the rice had been picked through. We are pretty easy going and not super picky diners, but we will be taking a long break from the Lafayette location of this establishment.

   Had reservations at 6:45 and seated at 7:15. Took forever to get waited on. Food did come quickly.

   First off, they don't offer sweet tea on the menu. That started our night off on the wrong foot. Their menu prices were much higher than any other Mexican restaurant around, and the food did not reflect it. My wife got the acadiana enchiladas, which comes with 1 shrimp, 1 crawfish, and 1 spinach. The crawfish one had some kind of tomato based sauce on it that threw off the whole taste of the enchilada. Out of the 6 people that ordered, half of them ended up sick from the food. We waited for MONTHS to go eat here, just for half of us to end up spending the night doing a mad dash to the bathroom. Auto gratuity is also practiced here. While our waitress was decent, I would prefer to determine that. Overall conclusion: Not worth the money, time, or experience.

    Food was great and our server was wonderful. The noise level is at times a challenge but we still love Superior Grill!!!
