About this restaurant

  • Neighborhood gem
  • Innovative
  • Good for special occasions
Street Disco is a constantly evolving restaurant and natural wine bar by Rising Star Chef Kyle Christy and his team. Starting as a pop up and becoming an industry favorite all over Portland Street Disco finally opened their doors in the Fall of 2022 in the Foster-Powell neighborhood of Portland.

Menu changes frequently, expect oysters, plenty of veggies, tinned fish, rotating meat dishes and plenty of things grilled over charcoal. Natural wines from all over the world rotate their way through our glass pour and bottle list as well as seasonally driven cocktails and house made kombucha.

Our food and wine are curated but the vibes are always welcoming. The playlist is always a highlight. Check for our frequent pop-ups and collabs.

Chef: Kyle Christy
General Manager: Maya Carlile
Wine Director: Ang D'Occhio
Sous Chef: Carlos Lopez

Always world class dining experience. But gritty. Just how I like it.

Food was excellent, but portions too small. Too noisy…they need some acoustic dampening treatment.

I came for the taco bell pop up menu night. Reservations were fully booked within 30 mins but I was able to snag a late one. This was my third time at Street Disco, and I'll definitely come back, but this was an off, not-great experience. We came 15 mins early because we were hungry and expected it to be super busy. Service was great as in our individual server was very sweet and accommodating, but service was bad as in receiving food or drinks was extremely slow. $15 dollars for a spritzer and $12 for a short Titos with soda. I think we were two or three drinks in before our small chips and queso every came which would have been the quickest thing on the menu to serve. The Chelada Verde was not what we were expecting, but I liked it a lot. Very refreshing. So many things were sold out on the menu. When we finally got the food, all of it was lukewarm. Tortillas and chips seemed store bought. For taco bell food, I totally get that could be what you want to go for, but would have guessed they would be homemade since Street Disco tends to be more elevated in general. I was super disappointed in the sauces they served. I didn't finish the bean burrito because that sauce was mostly tomato paste and not delicious. The best part of the food we were able to order was the steak. It was tender and perfectly cooked! Aside from that, we were bummed and would have preferred regular Taco Bell for the price and for what we got. Hope their next night is better, and their regular menus are still amazing!

My first, but definitely not my last visit! From the outstanding service, to the fresh menu and the wine pairing that wrap everything together quite nicely! Every dish served was superb! Thank you so much!

As good as their IG feed would suggest! Portland’s current best kept secret.

The food and service were impeccable. The noise level should be reduced somewhat.

Street Disco is our new fave--a cozy "neighborhood joint" that offers food at the highest level of Portland restaurant dining. Don't miss the meatballs, the Brussel sprouts and the Basque cheesecake for dessert. And while their cocktail menu is equally sublime, look no further than their Ice Ice Baby super cold gin martini--perfection. Mood lighting, comfy banquettes and warm friendly service are a plus as well.

Took my sister who was visiting from out of state. We, of course, love the place and it is one of our favs. Was curious to see how my sis, a foodie, would view this. Needless to say, she has not stopped raving about it. The food was the highlight...as it always is...incredible. But she couldn't stop at that....said it was the best food she had EVER had. Had to call her husband as soon as we got home and insisted he come with her and soon...just for the restaurant.

Second time here to celebrate my birthday and it did not disappoint. In the past year I developed a gluten(not celiacs) and dairy allergy and have high stress going into most restaurants. Worried the only things I can eat will be subpar. Each time at Street Disco they have been kind and accommodating with food that knocks my socks off. It seems anything we order off their menu is phenomenal with an high level of care and attention to each dish. I don’t leave hungry with the various options I get to choose from. My partner got a pasta and loaf that he raved about. Last but not least Ash served us at the chefs counter both times and just goes above and beyond. A high level of service I find rare to encounter these days. Making dining out a true joy of an experience.
