   We thoroughly enjoyed the "Steak Night" (or also called "Date Night") menu at STK. It's a great deal! 3-course menu for $69 per person including a bottle of Prosecco. We both had the shrimp cocktail appetizer which has 5 huge shrimp. For entrees we had the NY strip steak and Chilean sea bass - both exellent and enough to take some home. For dessert we shared the "Bag O Donuts" - loved the chocolate and caramel sauces. We also had excellent service. If you're in Old Town Scottsdale on Sunday-Thursday, definitely consider this great deal, BUT be sure to ask for it.

   Went at 3 one day very nice and quiet. Went at 6:30 one day very loud in there could barely talk to each other.

   Our customer service experience was not ideal. We were sat at 6pm and asked our waitress for a sommelier. She didn’t know what that was… but also they don’t have one. She asked our preferences for wine (Cab, earthy flavors) and came back with some notes. She provided us a fruity, Merlot recommendation. Did she even hear us? No thank you. We picked our wine bottle. Sat and waited. Ordered our meal. Salad was delivered at 6:45 (still no wine). Wine was delivered at 6:55. Bread was delivered at 7pm. Steaks came at 7:02pm. At 7:05pm our waitress came back with steak knives. Plates were not cleared (because we didn’t even have time to eat it all). Usually nice restaurants bring you clean plates and silverware BEFORE your steak comes. We were celebrating and dressed to the nines. The website specifies a dress code. It was not upheld. Girls in athletic leggings and sneakers. Men in t shirts and ball caps. No regard for the dress code. That really brings down the elegance and status. As I mentioned, it was a big celebration for us. It could have been a 2 wine bottle night for us, had we received it sooner and had time to drink and enjoy. We did speak to the manager (we did not call her, she happened to walk by our table) and we said we were worried about the timing of our steaks and being rushed to eat our appetizers. She said she would hold them. It didn’t feel that way or that she truly listened to our concerns. The food was good. Compliments to the chef. Customer service and atmosphere are not there.

   Personally I feel the food is very over-priced. Fish and chips for $67.00? The fish were so greasy I could not finish my meal. The side dishes were very good. There were 10 of us. I didn’t feel our table was attended to as much as it should have been. All the water and soda glasses were empty most of the meal. Our dinner and dessert time was a 50 minute span of time. We were simply neglected until the $1.450.00 bill came of which was food only. We don’t drink. Maybe that’s why our table was left in the cold. The ambiance is fine. It wreaks Scottsdale vibes. Unfortunately we won’t be going back. But hey, you can’t please everyone. I’d give this place a shot if you have deep pockets and don’t mind not quite getting your money’s worth. Happy new year.

   Sat on the patio for Happy Hour. Drinks were great and a deal at happy hour. Door was good but really small portions even for the price. The chicken bites and shrimp were nice portions. Service was excellent, fast, friendly and right on time. We will be back!

   My husband and I along with two other couples chose STK as our location to bring in the new year. We were visiting Scottsdale for the first time but STK is a brand we frequent when traveling so we felt very confident that this would be an ideal location to bring in the new year and celebrate. We paid $100 per person plus tax and gratuity for a NYE experience to include food only to be served spoons of tuna tartar, cookies, limited steak that ran out 10 min after our arrival, quesadillas advertised as short rib but they were thrown together with just cheese and barely any meat and a cold mushroom burger. This was a complete waste of $768 and we ended up leaving to actually get a proper New Year’s Eve meal. This was totally unacceptable and we should be granted a refund or some type of concession for false advertisement. I will never return to this location

   Do not purchase the STK NYE Rooftop party package! I paid &”$128 in advance but STK did not deliver on ANY of the services we paid for on the NYE Rooftop party. No reserved table, and there wasn’t even room to stand anywhere. There was no dinner. No food at all. There was no DJ. When I checked in the hostess told me she would have to check with her manager before letting me in. Never heard back from her, got back in the long line to check in again. I talked with the manager and he told me to write my contact info on a list (with other dissatisfied customers), and he would remedy it by providing a credit or refund. I also emailed the mgr, and I still haven’t heard back.

   We went for the Rooftop NYE Party. The hostess failed to tell us that there was a line forming outside the rooftop bar door until after 9:30 pm. This lead to the EXTREMELY limited seating being completely taken before we even got in the door. Drinks were very expensive and bartenders showed preference to certain patrons over others. The description of the event made it sound as though dinner was included… it was “microbites.” Though most were delicious, almost everything was gone so quickly that the staff couldn’t keep up. Drinks were wildly expensive upstairs and we were left wondering what exactly the $100 per person with auto added $20 gratuity even got us beyond in the door. This event was terrible enough and so poorly managed that I’ll never dine at this restaurant on a normal evening either. Awful.
