    All in all, a good experience. Great server. Food is excellent but overpriced compared to other high end steak houses. And the portion size of the sides are not large. Really just enough for one person. So, you need multiple for everyone to have enough. I have been to almost all in Nashville multiple times. Not sure I would come back to STK for this reason. I wondered why it wasn’t hard to get a reservation. Maybe that is why. Even the cocktails are very over priced.

    Went here for the first time with my boyfriend on New Year’s Day. Not opposed to paying high prices for amazing food and ambience but this place had neither. Vibe is really weird and this restaurant doesn’t know what kind of brand and experience it wants to be. Food was good, but not out of this world for the prices. In times of very limited disposable income a restaurant like this is a once a year time of experience that you expect a lot from..

    I reserved way in advance and was excited for the atmosphere . We were taken upstairs for our table and it looked like an attic with no atmosphere. We brought people for the first time and wasn’t what we expected.

    Went to dinner at 4:30 and restaurant was fairly empty but by 5:30 the restaurant was over capacity and extremely loud. The waitress informed us that quite a few menu items were not available due to supply issues. No salad or fish so ordered a $110 steak that was cooked as ordered and presented well which are sadly the best statements that could be made about the meal. Once the table was cleaned, both our and the table next to us waited more than 15 minutes for our checks from different servers. Neither table was offered dessert options which was a lost revenue opportunity. Hey management do not accept 1,000 reservations if you don’t have the staff to handle that volume and multiple members of your staff express displeasure!!! Overall there are much better options when paying that level of money for food, $25/drink, AND $20 for parking.

    Hire more servers with better attitudes!!! Order was messed up and the servers put blame on one another, didn’t check on the table enough and when asked to bring out sauces for the steak it took forever and when asked where they were we was told to hold on and wait on top of a 1,089 bill.. money wasn’t the issue th service was!

    We had a reservation for 7:30pm, and it was chaotic when we arrived. It was obvious they were running behind, but they told us they were only on a 20-30 minute wait which did not seem accurate based on the number of people waiting. Our wait, with a reservation, was an hour. I wish they had been upfront on the actual wait since we could have made the decision to eat somewhere else. The wait on the food was also longer than usual, so I am assuming the kitchen was struggling. The people next to us were seated before us and waited even longer for their meal and it came out incorrect. I saw the manager looking at the chaos from the second level, but I did not see him check in with any patrons. A good manager would be checking in with clients on a busy night, especially with how behind everything was running. Also, a complimentary starter or other item can go a long way in making people less grumpy, and I did not see anyone attempting to make up for the serious issues going on.
