   Restaurant is hard to find with no clear signage alerting people to enter through hotel. My wife and I had to call and while seated watched numerous guest struggle with outside doors thinking they were the entry. Once inside the restaurant had a smell, i think it was coming from their vent system as it was very similar to the gas smell when lighting a pilot and the sent came and went in waves. We alerted the manager who said everything was fine. The food was overpriced for the quality. Beef ribs were over cooked, wifes fish was over cooked, my mojito had very little mint or club soda with way too much much lime tasting more like a margarita (sent it back). They sautéed our brussel sprouts to avoid cross contamination with shellfish ( very thoughtful) but the dish came out undercooked more crudite than crispy. Best bites were the bread they serve and their wagu steak taco. Long story short I’d never go back and will not suggest it to others. Id expect this quality for 25 dollar plates not 50 plus dollar plates. We should have gone to Del Frisco but decided to try a new place.

   First time at STK and the experience was EVERYTHING. Went and celebrated my birthday with my best friends and Alexis was AMAZING. She made sure everything was perfect for us. Her customer service was above and beyond. Loved everything about STK. Definitely will be back.

   So, I linked up with a colleague at STK DC for an after-work meet. The ambiance was definitely aiming for that upscale, modern vibe, which I can appreciate. However, the culinary execution left something to be desired. The calamari appetizer, unfortunately, had a rather rubbery texture, which was a notable disappointment. For the main course, I opted for the surf and turf rice, but it lacked the depth of flavor I was expecting. To be frank, it was surprisingly bland. On the positive side, the Caesar salad was well-prepared, and the bread service was quite good. Those were the highlights of the meal. Regarding the service, it was adequate, though the initial table assignment in a high-traffic walkway was less than ideal. Thankfully, we were relocated to a more suitable table, which improved the overall experience. In essence, STK DC presents a stylish atmosphere, but the food quality didn't quite match the price point. While the Caesar salad and bread were commendable, the other dishes fell short. If you're prioritizing ambiance over a robust culinary experience, it might be worth a visit. But for a true foodie, there are likely better options in the city.

   I rarely leave reviews, but this experience at STK was so disappointing, I felt it needed to be shared. We made a reservation to celebrate my birthday, expecting a special night at what’s supposed to be a high-end restaurant. Instead, we were seated in one of the worst spots in the place — right by the kitchen. It was noisy, chaotic, and distracting. Dishes, trays, and even food were being dropped. It was far from the elegant, upscale atmosphere we’re used to. To make matters worse, our steaks were not cooked to our liking — something we’ve never had an issue with at other five-star restaurants we frequent. When setting our table, the manager placed my daughter’s items directly on the table instead of on a napkin — a small detail, but it spoke volumes about the lack of attention to service and etiquette. I was honestly shocked and very disappointed. This was not the birthday experience I had hoped for, and sadly, I won’t be returning.

   Pretty decent all around, the second one we have ate at. Had a problem with chicken add on to the Caesar salad costing $55. Happy to pay top dollar for everything else but that seemed wrong.

    Got the STK night dinner as we did date night on a weekday. This is a value compared to the regular prices on the menu. We will start with the good parts....first the starters of blue cheese butter bread and Caesar salad were much better than expected. Usually salads are an after thought at steakhouses, but not here. The sides ofac and Cheese and Asparagus were the highlight of the meal. The Mac and cheese was creamy, rich, and had a depth of flavor to it. We opted to pay the additional charge to get the Porterhouse to split but were slightly disappointed. The strip side was full of grizzle but the tenderloin side was tasty. We also opted for the addition of the Waygu umami butter but we were served the lobster butter instead. It clearly tastes like seafood. We informed our waiter of this but the problem was never corrected. Additionally, we were told all cocktails were on happy hour but the bill had their seasonal cocktail listed at full price. Again, the information was passed but nothing was corrected. This should be clearly listed on the menu or patrons should be informed when having a conversation and deciding what drinks to order (we talked to the waiter for over five minutes about the different drinks). All in all I would return to try some.bites off the happy hour but the quality we received today was not worth the full prices on the menu
