The original Steve's opened in 1991 on Old Country Road in the heart of Westbury. This is the newest and third location! It is owned and operated by the Vaccaro family who has been in the restaurant business for 40 years.

Steve's Piccola Bussola is Italian dining with big flavors, quality food, and dedicated service. Steve's revels in traditional, hearty southern Italian fare, but also touches on other regions as well. The sauces taste just as good now as they did when they opened twenty five years ago. They only use the freshest ingredients.

Steve and his son Joe are driven to give their customers the best experience possible from start to finish, antipasto all the way to dessert.

Love going here for business lunches. The service is always excellent and the food is delicious! The chicken scarpariello is my absolute favorite. The waiter recommended trying it with added peppers and sausage and it was so yummy!

My mom and I had an early dinner - we shared the fried mozzarella which were perfect little balls not long strips and the sauce was perfect! Then we each had a special- shrimp which was deliciously prepared and I had stuffed filet with shrimp and crab in a sauce that was amazing. Topped it off with coffee and tiramisu - one of the best we have had in a long time- perfectly soaked, not dry or soggy- yummy! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will go back!!

Found this little gem by accident only because it was within walking distance of my hotel. Turns out I was very pleased with everything from the romantic atmosphere to the service and the delicious authentic Italian homemade food. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for something special and still affordable. I look forward to returning again.

It is so consistently good. From the wait staff to the generous portions, to the high quality, fresh food. Spiedino alla Romana is marvelous. Special chopped salad is delicious. We had the special pasta (orecchiette with crab meat and shrimp.) Scrumptious. Great service. Highly recommend. Really some of the better Italian food in the area.
