   The Populous Hotel and Stellar Jay restaurant are worth the visit - the rooftop views are just spectacular! You get this wonderful perspective of the dumb Civic Center and capital buildings. The menu is diverse and the flavors distinctive and just very very good. The hamachi crude is addictive. It was a great night.

   I came to Denver from Virginia to celebrate my sister‘s birthday. We are staying in the hotel and we had a great time at your restaurant. Everybody was very friendly. The service was great. The food was awesome and they made the birthday girl feel very special. We appreciate the tasters of Prosecco and the baked Alaska for dessert. The view is awesome on the patio. We spent two hours in the restaurant and had a great time. Thank you very much. We will definitely be back with our group of friends.

   Stellar Jay just opened about 6 months ago in the Populus Hotel. Beautiful restaurant on the 12 floor looking out over Denver through its interesting window design. The food was super delicious and the wine (red and white) was served at the correct temperature. The Mushroom Tempura and the Grilled Radicchio Salad was delicious as well as the 20 ounce Ribeye steak which my husband and I shared. The cool decor and ambience is warm and inviting as well as an outdoor patio with lovely 180 degree views of Denver. The restaurant downstairs in the lobby area is great too! I had lunch there and it was wonderful. The trout was delicious. This is a wonderful place to enjoy a special evening.

   This really blew me away. From the pre dinner cocktails, terrific and frequent service, the incredible apps (strongly recommend the bread and the gnocchi), the ribeye that was cooked over an open flame was absolutely SPECTACULAR. All topped off with a baked Alaska. The views are amazing and something important for me, I can have a normal volume conversation very easily! This might be my new favorite restaurant in Denver all things considered. Not a foot stepped wrong. Cannot wait to go back soon!

   Beautiful place, nice selection of drinks. As a vegetarian, there were dishes for me, but not any mains. No problem, I like to share. We ordered a lot of food- portion sizes are generous! but we didn't LOVE any of it, and felt it a little bit lacking in flavor beyond "charred". Bread was super toasted and did not need the toasting- keep baguettes with their insides soft please! Good atmosphere and great for an anniversary or date, but the food could use a little extra something. (flavor?) to really make it worth the cost. Premium prices for sure, and needs more to justify them.

   Fantastic experience from beginning to end. All staff were very personable, helpful and friendly. Food was amazing. The melon margarita was top notch. Loved the ambiance and views. Only issue was that the noise level was loud, mostly from one table though- not a restaurant issue.

   Great cocktails and food. Staff was A+! Our bartender gave us so many amazing facts about the building and the decisions made to reduce their carbon footprint, all the programs they use to use or compost all of the food… it was great!Acoustics were on the louder side, but overall we had a great dinner and will be back.

   Stunning restaurant and hotel. The food was great, the rooftop patio is cool and the service was wonderful. I can’t wait to come back when the weather is nice for patio drinks.

   The atmosphere was amazing. Food superb. Would definitely go again but would pick a different server. The service almost ruined the entire experience.

    This is a spectacular rooftop venue with a talented chef. The experience overall is distinctive and fun, but the prices and portion sizes were off-putting. The $21 Manhattan lives here, as well has high teens vegetable sides and $9 bread. One value is raspberry sorbet with pomegranate kernels at $5. Seating arrangements vary widely, but all seem to look out the cool windows at the superb views. Our group of 4 was seated at two small round tables, making dish splitting and general logistics awkward. I recommend this restaurant as an experience, but at these prices, there are many options with more robust menu options.
