Our name, SOT(솥), is the Korean word for a traditional cooking pot, the soul of every Korean kitchen. It is a symbol of warmth, nourishment, and hearty meals shared with loved ones.

Our signature SOT BAP (rice cooked in a pot) brings out rich flavours and a perfect texture using the traditional Korean rice cooking method. It’s a symphony of flavours, enhanced by the finest ingredients carefully layered.

Beyond SOT BAP, our BANSANG menu offers a complete Korean dining experience. With a variety of seasonal banchan (side dishes) and a comforting soup, each Bansang is a curated experience of Korean culinary traditions.

    I tried Daeji Galbi(grilled pork ribs), and it was one of the best dishes I’ve had in a while. It was presented amazing and the portion was just right. I’ve been to other Korean restaurants, but this place is up at the top of my list from now.

    It's awesome. 👍🥰👏 I've never experienced that kind of food ever in Melbourne. I'm definitely coming back again very soon. Also I'll recommend "SOT " all my friends and families. Service staffs was very helpful and kindly.

    We had a wonderful evening at SOT Dining. Everything was outstanding. The menu selection, quality of the food, ambience , and service were all enjoyable. Can't wait to go back !

    Had a really good time at SOT. Food was really good - we tried the seafood sotbab and the steak sotbab, portion sizes were slightly smaller but quite filling. Ambience and service were also amazing, will definitely come back to try their cold noodles.

    The worst restaurant I've ever been to in Melbourne. There were many people around me who didn't get their food and I couldn't believe I was one of them. After one person finished eating, a long time passed and no other food came out, so I asked them and they said our food wasn't ready but it was already marked as out so no one was making our food. We decided to just leave. The food was too expensive for the food and service we had. It was a really bad evening for a friend who had been waiting for us. I guess they weren't ready for business.

    The food was delicious. The service was very slow and they struggled to explain how SOT works as a meals. It was was all made up for by the food. Every dish was great. And the KFC chicken is some of the best I have had in town

    Our food took 45 minutes to come out. We dined at an off peak time (1:30pm) and didn’t leave the restaurant till 3pm. The restaurant was also not that busy with many other tables also waiting for their food. The food itself was mediocre, many other Korean restaurants in Melbourne with cheaper, better food and faster surface. The only highlight was the ambience of the restaurant itself. Can definitely take a miss on this one; wouldn’t recommend.
