   The food is good; the drinks are excellent, and our server Freddy was awesome. However, the management is rude and unprofessional. This was my 2nd visit. I had brunch last week and decided to return to celebrate my birthday with friends. All was good until we were approached by the manager Nathan (after we had ordered food and were on our 3rd round of drinks) and told we needed to move because he needed the table for another reservation. Keep in mind that unlike with brunch, there was no table time limit mentioned when we made the reservation. When we asked if we could finish our drinks, he suggested we pick them up and move to the bar (where there were not available seats). When we said we could just close out, he still tried to get us to get up saying that we could close out at the bar. Apparently, the owner (who was a couple tables over with a large party) had friends he was trying to make room for. There is an automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill which is not a problem. However, perhaps they do that so they can treat you poorly and try to herd you out without losing money. When we were leaving, the above-mentioned owner was blocking the stairs arguing with the doorman about people being let in. The doorman literally had to nudge him aside so people could pass. Rude and unprofessional.... this is not a good look. There are too many establishments that appreciate your business, so unfortunately it is unlikely that I will return. We left and went around the corner to Grafitti Raw to continue my birthday celebration.

   Good food, great ambiance, excellent drinks, awesome service. Our server Freddy was attentive and personable. Came for brunch with a friend and we loved everything about this place. I will definitely come back.

   The service was soooo a$$. I had a reservation at 8:30 but didn’t get seated till 9:30. Which was fine bc we stood by the bar. But once we got seated they ALSO took another 30 min to get a waiter (the hostess ended up being our waiter 💀 bc the owner forced her to take our order in front of him LMFAO) not to mention, our drinks came out in 15 minute increments of each other, the appetizer was horrid. And don’t get me started on the speakeasy !!! When we went downstairs there was a blonde girl in a fuzzy brown hat telling us “ you gotta leave babe” the second we went downstairs and the bouncer kicking us out like we were trashy. All of this because someone had rented out the entire speakeasy. It would’ve been nice to know in advanced that they could literally shut down half of Sophie’s bc I would’ve never visited just for a mid roof top.

   Service was extremely slow and appeared irritated that I asked where should I check in for my reservation. Once I was seated, it took 15 minutes for me to be greeted by a waitress who didn’t explain anything regarding QR codes for menus. Once I ordered a drink, it took 20 minutes to receive my cocktail. The waitress was unconcerned and only acknowledged the delay once I inquired on the delay. After the delay and service experience I wasn’t interested in food options.

   Weren’t even allowed in after having reservations for 3 weeks in advance. We looked forward to visiting Sophie’s and actually based our night around it but when we arrived nobody acknowledged us even standing there for 10 minutes then when WE finally walked up to somebody they treated us like we were stupid for not knowing there was a “building buy out” and that the whole place was “not open to the public” the night of my RESERVATIONS. I attempted to speak with a manager or just somebody who knew SOMETHING and got told by multiple employees that they had no idea about reservations and or that they were just hired for the night. When I asked what if even anything could be done, they shrugged without even an apology. Anyways it was my 25th birthday that ended in me paying for an overpriced Uber to this place and being treated like an annoyance and inconvenience for showing up with reservations for my 25th birthday!!!! 🤩🤩🤩

   Beautiful bar with wonderful staff. They were lovely and very attentive to our needs. Drinks were a bit pricey but delicious so I couldn’t complain.

    Patio needs to have more heater for the cold weather coming . Everything else was perfect
