Welcome to The Sondes Arms

The Sondes Arms, Rockingham, is a 16th Century coaching inn, with amazing views of Rockingham Castle and Church. Having recently undergone a full refurbishment, The Sondes Arms offers a delightful Bar and Restaurant ideal for every occasion.

We pride ourselves as a family friendly public house & serve a traditional pub menu of home cooked food. In addition we serve our beautiful home cooked carvery all day Sunday and now Wednesday and Friday evenings along with a great range of lagers, ales and wines

Great place for food, service was excellent and really quick on getting the food. Two of us had the carvery and they also catered for myself who is gluten free with gf gravy and Yorkshire pudding. Always love going there and will go back again for Christmas with work.

Always been lovely,sadly ,although the girls who serve you are lovely,the time we had to wait (1hr) for our meal was too long. ,then 3/4 hr for our pudding. Food was delicious ,so no probs there.

Very good carvery but the burger order was incorrect, specifically asked for a plain cheeseburger with no salad or coleslaw for my grandson but it came with both

We had the carvery, offered 2 choices of meat. I had beef & gammon, unfortunately no lamb. But plenty was dished up on plate with a Yorkshire pudding & stuffing. Lots of veg to choose from, swede, broccoli, runner beans & cauliflower cheese. There was also dauphinose potatoes & lots of roast potatoes, topped off with a thick gravy. I piled my plate high & it was delicious! There was lots of staff bringing drinks & clearing plates. Highly recommend.
