We love the simplicity of seasonal and local ingredients. Modern dining and ancient techniques such as smoking, curing and preserving are at the heart of our restaurant. These aspects motivate us as well as bringing in other global flavours, ingredients, and cuisines. In this way, we try to reflect the diversity and multiculturality of South London and the UK through our food. We are a Catey and Time Out Love London award-winning restaurant with mentions in the Good Food Guide and the esteemed Michelin Guide.

We are pleased to offer one of the cheapest tasting menu experiences in London too - so don't hesitate to book us for your next special occasion.

Join us on Stir-Up Sunday, November 24th, 2024, for a festive day of pudding-making fun! For just £40 per pudding (prebooked), you can create your own traditional Christmas pudding with us, using the finest ingredients. We'll steam your pudding overnight on Sunday and they will be available to collect the following week, having the perfect maturation time for the big day. Plus, kids under 10 eat free with every paying adult, making it a perfect family outing. A £10 per head deposit, refundable against your final food and drink bill, secures your spot for this hands-on event. Join us for a festive Wreath-making Workshop hosted by local florist Jessie Watson on 5th December. Priced at £100pp (excl. service charge), this event includes a communal, light 3-course lunch with mulled wine and mince pies, starting at 12pm, followed by the workshop at 1.45pm. You’ll receive a handmade woven willow base (Somerset-grown willow), English-grown moss, Nordic pine, and English berried ivy for your foliage. Customize your wreath with eucalyptus berries, orange slices, pine cones, and more, and finish with velvet ribbon. Take your wreath away in a hessian bag too. You will be required to prepay £60 today, with your food bill to be settled on the day to bring the total to £100 (exclusive of service charge).

Every dish on the tasting menu was excellent. The right balance between adventurousness with not too much fuss. It’s very pleasing to have a restaurant of this quality in a neighbourhood, rather than them feeling the need to locate in the centre of town

A gem of a find in Tooting, superb food and service and exceptional value. Get the wine pairing. Absolutely delighted and we will be putting it into regular rotation.

A little disappointed, in truth. Food was fine but sometimes bland, poorly seasoned and had pretensions to be what it wasn’t. Lighting too bright. Not great value. A shame.

We had the most loveliest evening and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We would have loved a little more bread to nibble on for the table as the portions are on the smaller side but it was wonderful all the same.

We went for a private taster menu in conjunction with Unwined in Tooting. It was a fantastic experience - great food paired with great wines from Unwined (a local wine bar). There was wonderful explanations of both what we were eating and drinking. The staff were very attentive and the owner specifically came round to everyone to check they were enjoying the experience. We would strongly recommend it.
