   Pasta and breads are made by the chef in house and must try! I finished the bread! Their breads are super good!

   Our table of 3 attended one of the Simpl Exchanges, this one was with Dwight Smith. The food was so delicious, well-plated and unique. The service here is always friendly, attentive & considerate. Simpl Things is my personal favourite bar / restaurant in the city and I look forward to every opportunity to enjoy the ambiance and menu offering. Their commitment to providing varied experiences throughout the day / week is highly appreciated and ensures a unique experience, no matter when you visit.

   The service was amazing, food was wonderful. Loved the concept of the drink flight. Would like the option to choose between a couple of other drinks for the flight. Plates are larger than I expected!! I'll be back

   It’s a nice space but the tables are far too close together. Could barely hear myself think and struggled to talk to my friend because of the extremely close proximity to the tables either side of us. At times we had to shout and lean across the table just to communicate. Staff and service were good. Food was fine but didn’t live up to the hype. I always rate a restaurant on two things: 1. Would I go back and 2. Would I recommend to a friend? For me, the answer to both questions is unfortunately no. One bathroom for all patrons was a challenge too, with people often queueing and waiting around throughout the night.

   Hi Shane, thank you for the feedback, unfortunately we can only work with the constraints we are dealt with as a small, Toronto building -a lot of our guests actually quite enjoy the intimate/ liveliness of the space! Saturday nights especially. We are glad you enjoyed our service and will make sure to note your thoughts on the food - and open to any specific feedback! We hope to see you at a quieter time, and with many diverse menus, or even on our patio in the summer :)
