   We always come when we stay in Brixham. The quality of the fish and created dishes is amazing. It’s an absolute gem of a restaurant.

   A visit to Shoals is a must for any seafood lover. Every time we come to Brixham we always ensure we have booked an evening meal here. Service is always professional and the food is consistently excellent!!

   That was an absolutely superb lunch, 3 good size scallops in an interesting sauce, then battered hake fillet - beautifully moist and perfectly cooked flaky fish in probably the best batter I’ve ever tasted, crisp all over (unlike so many with a soggy inedible base) which stayed just as crisp to the last mouthful. A bottle of delicious rosé (Bobal) went perfectly with the fish, we rounded off with a fine creme brûlée. Agathi on front of house, very friendly and professional, backed up a small team of experts in the kitchen. And what fantastic views over Torbay!

   Fantastic experience at Shoals, staff couldn’t do enough to help and even went over and above to accommodate our two dogs inside the restaurant. Food outstanding. Would definitely recommend.

    We came three years ago and was amazed by the food and overall greatness of this restaurant. We have been missing the monk fish and scallops so when we came back again it did not disappoint. The whole team were so good and the views of the water were the cherry on top. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back.
