At Seneca, we do something special for groups of 9-14 guests, as we invite large parties to gather together and feast. "Convivium" is a fixed three-course, family-style meal priced per guest. There is an entry level option as well as a supplemented option with more food. You won't have to make any decisions, as we'll take care of everything, cooking up some of our favorite dishes from every section of the menu. However, because this is family style, all diners must choose the same option upon booking. Cancellations may be made up to 48 hours in advance of your reservation, any cancellations within the 48 hours are not eligible for refunds. Tax, 20% Gratuity, and 4% service fee applied at checkout.

Great views and atmosphere however, the food was average. My pasta with claims was over cooked and not very good. My son’s carbonara was the best dish. My wife’s pasta with vodka with tomato cream sauce was not very good. I grew up in New Jersey with the best Italian restaurants in the Metro NY NJ area.

Had a fantastic birthday lunch for my son along with family at Seneca. The food was delicious, the cocktails were awesome, and the service was excellent. The staff was friendly and even surprised hjm with a special dessert! A great place for celebrations—highly recommend!

It was a magical experience. I called ahead of f time to plan a special evening for my girlfriend and the hostess staff did everything they could to accommodate. The food was excellent. The view is to die for. Our new favorite restaurant.

I didn’t not know what to expect when I was arriving but by the time I left I blown out of the park. The food and service were amazing, Jesse with cool mustache was phenomenal.

Where do I start… Seneca is the best restaurant in San Diego. The ambiance is magical, with the decor they tele transport you to this exotic Italian cruise with magnificent decoration, breathtaking views, and service and food out of this world. Our server was a delight, food and drinks absolutely delicious, where a simple beet salad becomes a symphony of flavors, and the branzino was spectacular as well. We were 3 people and all very very happy with our meal. Being gluten free (not by choice) is hard and makes experiencing restaurants difficult at times, but not at Seneca. The meal was incredible and I was ready to hear sorry no gluten free desserts, but no here there are plenty of scrumptious gluten free dessert options too. This place really was an absolute treat. THANK YOU!!

La recepción súper bien, el trato de los meseros fue bueno, el único detalle es que nos presionaron mucho para desocupar la mesa a tal grado que no pudimos pedir el postre porque nos llevaron la cuenta sin preguntar si queríamos algo más y aún no excedíamos el tiempo que permite la reservación.
