    Thursdays from 8PM - 11PM Sempre Oggi welcomes David Kastin, who has been a DJ in New York for over 30 years, for a curated set from his personal record collection. I bought my first record in 1975. It was Aerosmith’s debut album. Ever since then I have had a love affair with vinyl. It all started with early 70’s rock, then into the late 70’s I was collecting disco ala Studio 54. Next was punk/post punk new wave and my collection grew significantly. In the late 80’s I discovered an old school NYC dance party DJed by none other than David Mancuso called The Loft and it changed my life. The Loft exposed me to so much music, one could hear almost anything from disco to funk, soul, house and rock and post punk it was so eclectic and inspiring

    Great dinner at Sempre last night. Seated right away after a warm welcome from the host. Service was wonderful with a special shout-out to Emma who was professional and warm. Food was delicious and portions large. Chicken was worth the hype. Blue crab tagliatelle was incredible as were the fried artichoke. A great addition to the neighborhood. Low marks for ambience only because we were seated at a table in the corner near the waitstaff area. That said, I would take that table in a heartbeat to have that dinner again.

    Food, service lived up to expectations after reading reviews! Everything was delicious. Service was also very good! Will definitely return! Salad, halibut, branzino and dessert were excellently prepared!

    Great place, great food, and great service! They pay attention to the notes included in OpenTable which is nice. Menu slightly changes daily so don’t heavily rely on what’s on OT.

    We’ve eaten at Sempre Oggi a dozen times and it continues to be one of our favorites. In spite of being very crowded, we could hear conversations at our table easily. I love the fresh pastas and the servings are not so enormous that you can’t finish. We started our meal with the delicious focaccia and the sliced prosciutto. Cocktails and water were delivered quickly. We will be back soon!

    Fabulous addition to the UWS - Sempre Oggi exceeded our expectations - on food, ambiance and although the service was a little slow - we will be returning soon and frequently. We requested a quiet table (we remembered that Cesca used to be way too loud) and we had a lovely booth that had great ambience and good sound. The portions are easily shareable and the food was fantastic. Perhaps the best branzino I have had in a decade. Service was attentive but the time between the first courses and the entrees was too long. Excellent menu, great seasonal choices, good wine list, lovely setting. It was everything we needed - and we will be back!

    Incredible, seasonally-driven Italian that manages to feel both traditional and progressive. There was attention paid to every detail, but with none of the fussiness chefs often pair with culinary creativity. We were also blown away by the seamless high-end service. This place is a standout and we were unsurprised when Michelin added sempre oggi to its 2025 list the day after we ate there :)

    Such a pleasant surprise to be able to have a conversation while enjoying a delicious meal. Whipped sheep’s milk ricotta w/honey on focaccia, pasta w/pesto and walnuts, halibut and chocolate ‘cheesecake’ - wonderful. And don’t miss the espresso martini!

    Food for was very good except the ricotta pancakes which were very plain and lacked any ricotta taste. Pancakes should be avoided.
