   Overall the experience was good. The main server was excellent but the food delivery staff could use a better understanding of what they were delivering when a diner asks questions. Could also benefit from the bus staff and hostess to fill water the glass are dark and I think hard for staff to tell when water levels are low. The menu had a lot of nice options but the dishes felt incomplete. Enjoyable experience overall but might order differently the next time.

   What a treat, we stopped im for Sunday brunch, it was quiet in the restaurant at first but the bar started to fill up. My husband and son had the tuna tartare appetizer and loved it! U had the gem salad with chicken, so good!!! I loved the mocktail selections and jimmy our server was on point! Thank you!!

   perfect portions. We had octopus, tuna tartar, ricotta bread for apps. meals were king crab spaghetti, chicken sandwich...both large portions, and ahi tuna and sea bass. Everything was delicious and perfectly prepared. expensive and rather small menu, but we knew that and were impressed by the quality.

   Not my first visit to Sea Smoke Grill, likely to be my last. TLDR: Thinks a lot of itself, fails to deliver on every front. Five person reservation, 3/4 empty room, Friday evening. Showed up on time, the "coat check" is a hanging rack by the door with plastic hangers. The hostess refused to seat us until I insisted. The room was empty and those of that already arrived wanted drinks and apps. Ordered Oysters and drinks- fine- failed to bring demi spoons. Ordered dinner, but had to ask several people for a steak knife. Quality of the ingredients as *listed* was rather fine, ie. Waygu. Quality of the food the actually arrived at the table, GFS. Everything appears diner quality dressed up on fancy plates. It's not house made bread. It's not house made fries. Whipped potatoes were actually a stodgy 1/2 cold lumps. The steak was over dressed to the point of swimming, in a thinly veiled attempt to mask the blah quality of the meat. There is NOTHING about this place, that entitles it to the price point. Look - I get it - it's Troy - it's not Noma - but they price it like Troy or raise all your standards. Get a real coat check. Get a hostess who can read the room. TAKE CARE OF THE PEOPLE WHO COME IN DURING A SNOWSTORM WHEN YOUR ROOM IS EMPTY. Get a decent baker, Bake your own bread and buns. Get a front of the house staff who provide appropriate flatware. Offer a reasonable espresso at the close of the meal. Decant your wine. Or be honest, your fake fancy in a town that might not know better.

   The food and service are always excellent and love the river location. It’s an overpriced restaurant but the food is excellent and as long as you have the expectation of the high prices it’s great. Highly rec the calamari, sea bass, bolognese pasta. They don’t offer any complimentary bread but the ricotta bread is really good.

   Our wait person was attentive and professional. The manager came to our table and we had a great conversation. She is a star and was genuinely interested in our dining experience. She asked what brought us, from Boston, to your resturant (My son’s RPI Football banquet). She engaged with my husband, son and I. When asked, she explained where your other restaurants are located and their specialty cuisine. The good was spectacular and delectable. The drinks creative and flavorful. Would you consider a location in the Boston area?

   Food was great We had a little trouble with the bill which was resolved However I did join up with loyalty program and so far that has not been resolved
