   We were looking forward to a lovely, fine dining experience, and apparently Savona has changed their theme to ultra casual, gray bare walls. With minimal Christmas decorations,; chaotic -so crowded and noisy that you couldn’t hear yourself talk across the table. You had to flag down a server and grab someone else’s server to get water or another drink. I understand trying to keep up with the times and perhaps people enjoy more casual atmosphere but they have taken casual to a new low level. The valet service was pretty nonexistent. We had to pull out our own car. There is no courtesy of getting in or out of the car. Overall, extremely disappointed and will not be coming back.

   Overall we had a lovely dinner…Service and ambiance were terrific. Very good Caesar salad, excellent focaccia, pasta was divine, the eggplant Parmesan was just ok…very heavy and not as expected. Yummy apple tart for dessert and great drinks menu. Would visit again.

   We were celebrating a close friend's birthday this evening at Savona- it was a very elegant celebration all the way around. The golden artichoke heart appetizer was a big hit and very tasty. The short ribs, salmon and scallops were absolutely out of this world. And the chocolate crunch brownie was a very creative & scrumptious dessert. It was great that Papi came over, said hello and wished us happy holidays. It was also great to see our server Irving again. As soon as he approached our table I knew we were in for some excellent service this evening. He was super attentive and made some great suggestions for us. Thank you Irving for making this a wonderful birthday celebration for our close friend !!!

   For my first time experience it was fenomenal food, the service, atmosphere was amazing. Personally I would highly recommend this beautiful restaurant. I will definitely be coming back.

   Savona is one of my top resturants. The service, food and atmosphere is excellent. Excellenf experience every time I have been there.

   We sat in the bar area and shared a bunch of dishes. The Caesar salad which they split between the 2 of us was plentiful and delicious. The meatball appetizer was excellent. The grilled octopus appetizer was way too chewy but we ate it anyway because we were hungry and didn’t feel like sending it back. The margarita pizza was perfect. Overall I would recommend this place and go back again.

    We enjoyed our meals. The beef short rib was cooked perfectly and the branzino fillet was very good. The branzino was served on a small oval plate which made it a bit wonky and messy to eat. We were seated on the parch dining room and was very tight seating. Our table didn't have a light over the table and when they dimmed the lights it was very dark at our table. We requested to have the lights brought up a bit, but that never happened. Our waiter never followed up with us on our request. Even if they couldn't or wouldn't, it would have been nice to have our request acknowledged. We asked to have a scoop of sorbet and a scoop of gelato instead of two scoops of gelato for dessert, however we were informed that the Chef wouldn't allow it. Can't understand that one.... Overall we had a nice experience with the food but we felt the service was quite smug and inflexible.
