Chef Christian Graves brings the spirit of Italian cooking to your plate by way of local, seasonal and sustainable ingredients. I was looking forward to try this new restaurant in a thriving neighborhood. First impressions were very disappointing. I was expecting a more upscale setting than a dining area adjacent to the bar and sharing the same music. There was no intimacy whatsoever. The food was very tasty and well prepared, although some portions were small. The menu was very interesting The service was mediocre. A 20% tip was included, which I do not mind if an appropriate level of service is provided. Overall, I enjoyed the meal. However, I will choose many other places to dine for a similar price before I return to this restaurant. I hope the service and ambience improve if they stay with high quality food.

Bonnie our waitress told us the kitchen was behind because of restaurant week….it took 1 hour to get a salad…we gave up and left. The manager took off the price of dinner but we paid $44.00 for 1 drink, 1 tea and the included tip for our lousy service.

I was so happy to find this restaurant through restaurant week. We loved our experience. The food was phenomenal. I really enjoyed the spinach lasagna and my husband loved the balsamic chicken. We absolutely plan to return to bring family and friends for celebrations and dinner parties in the future.

We had a lovely dinner during restaurant week. We had been wanting to try and this was a great way the sample a variety of foods. The calamari and carpaccio are excellent. The proper edge to the carpaccio was a great addition and the semolina on the calamari created a nice, light breading. Both the beet salad and Caesar were a notch above. Swordfish was well prepared. Great wine list with a range of prices. We had a Negroni and a cosmo to start our dinner and they were so perfectly made. Our waiter, Danny, was terrific; friendly and helpful and excellent service. We look forward to our next visit. So glad to have such a nice restaurant away from downtown. We stopped by the rooftop bar on our way out to check and know we’ll return to catch a sunset and enjoy some of the offerings on the bar menu.

Denver restaurant week/anniversary let down. Their online menu listed braised beef on a dish they didn’t have on it and when we pointed it out after it got to the table, it was brushed off. Then the short rib pasta dish had the smallest singular piece of short rib in the whole dish and again the server brushed it off. The energy of this restaurant gives excellence but the restaurant itself sure didn’t deliver on that :/ food was still good but expected better.
