Eschewing flashy decor and modern tunes, Sandro's ambiance transports guests to Italy, with its traditional cuisine and exclusively Italian wine selection, constantly evolving to delight wine enthusiasts.

We very much enjoyed our dinner at Sandro’s. The food was extremely delicious and the service was courteous and efficient. The restaurant is small and the noise level increased as the restaurant got busier, but everyone seemed happy to be there and having a convivial time. All in all, it was a treat and we look forward to returning.

Excellent service and food! The Caesar salad and gnocchi were delicious…. Lovely complimentary homemade grissini and lentil soup and lemon cookies at end of the meal!

Sandro's is a 2wonderful restaurant. It is our favorite Italian Restaurant in NYC and one of the best restaurants in the city as well. A well run family operation!

The staff was special and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our experience. We had two pasta dishes, and the branzino—-all were excellent. The apple cake for dessert was also excellent.

Food and service were perfetto! It was very loud and we sat at a two-top table in the middle of the restaurant - not ideal. But overall - a good dining experience.

I have dined at Sandro's many times. The food is consistently delicious. Services is usually excellent. Not so tonite. We had to waive down a waiter for the complimentary bruschetta, and again for the spicy oil that I usually receive automatically with the Bucatini all’Amatriciana. We basically never received the "check in" from anyone after receiving our entrees. The one main waiter seems brusk, while the 2 other servers were very kind. It was packed for a Monday night, which I was very happy to see, but maybe it was too much for the waiter. Anyway, anyone is allowed to have an off night, and I will be back. But when paying almost $30 for a plate of pasta, I expect a bit more care from the main waiter.

We were in the private room which was amazing because we did have some older folks with us who usually complain we can’t hear each other. Worked out beautifully.
