    We got seated in the upstairs area which is quiet but poorly serviced - it requires a trip up the stairs for everything (or at least it did last night…). While the server was pleasant, our location was clearly an irritant. We were never offered a second drink or a glass of wine , our water glasses were never refilled and when we finished our main courses, she summarily presented us with the check - no offer of dessert - a clear not-so-subtle queue to leave. It was a real disappointment for $150.

    Food was very good and service was attentive. The noise became an issue when a large loud group came in from the bar. It kind of spoiled an otherwise enjoyable experience.

    The decor is nice. We had to wait about 15-20 minutes for our reserved table, as it was a busy night. The menu had good variety. The catch of the day was fresh and had several choices. The waitress was cordial. The food was decent, but not exceptional. So, the cost of this meal was slightly overpriced. Overall, it was an okay experience. However, don’t go out of your way to have dinner here.

    The food was full of flavor, flounder with she crab, topped with crab and garlic mashed potatoes as a side. This is the type of meal worth paying for. The service was excellent, and the food didn't take long at all to come out.

The meal was topped off with a delightful Chocolate Passion Fruit Ball - a concoction of light, airy, mouse-like combined with passion fruit puree.

    Overall it was a nice evening. We arrived early to take advantage of Happy hour but the bar was too crowded to get near and there were no seats at the side tables. We went into the dining room a bit ahead of our reservation. There was plenty of room but the room filled up as Happy Hour ended! The service was fine and the food OK but not spectacular. My companion enjoyed her scallops and said she would order them again. My crab cake was meaty but not as tasty as I expected. We tried a couple of house wines and found them about average. I think I will try one of the other restaurants in the hotel next time I visit before I go back to Saltines.
