All their food offerings are significantly overpriced. E.g. we got two shrimp for their happy hour shrimp cocktail for $9. One crab cake costs $41. And It was mushy in the center. Nothing special. They served us a Caesar salad which was primarily a bowl of romaine lettuce with an anchovy dressing and Parmesan cheese but with no anchovies for $26. We had to ask for anchovies be brought to the table because the waitress said they were part of the salad, but the chef said they had changed the menu and no anchovies were included. Then they brought us anchovies as if it was an extenuating circumstance. Their 1/2 lb steakhouse Wagyu burger was okay but I’d prefer a heartier burger at CCG. Their French fries are way too big. Obviously they are trying to obtain a ROE ASAP because they are catering to a very affluent Cherry Creek community, but I doubt they can survive long term with much more reasonably priced alternatives like Blue Island Oyster. Our waitress Raquel did do her best to try and make our dinner experience good, but she is obviously only a pawn in this new restaurant’s machinations. In short, if you want to check it out feel free, but the corporate structure behind this picked a losing horse. Changes need to be made.

This restaurant is so overpriced for the meal we had tonight. It would be different if this was fine dining…. White table cloth, but it is not. It is a bar scene with food. The food was good not great and certainly not worth the price charged. I really wanted to like this place but the price made me sick to my stomach.

This restaurant is stupidly expensive. $40 for a single crabcake? $80 for a small piece of fish? Come on.

We absolutely loved the Blue Mermaid vibes of Salt Water Social and the incredible food! The DJ was playing some great throwbacks and really set the tone for a retro vibe. The atmosphere was just amazing. We loved the blue vintage tables, the blue lights at the bar, the Mermaid statues and paintings and scales all over the place. The mix of Land and Sea really makes the concept of this restaurant come together. The Crab Cakes were a MUST. The oysters were perfect, not too salty. The Mushroom + Truffle Rigatoni is one of the best pastas I've ever tasted. The Lobster Roll was soooo good. And the Steak was so juicy , perfect pairing with mashed potatoes and aspires on top. The cocktails were stunning and delicious. Our personal favorites were the "Seven Seas" which was a blue drink with a Bubble on top that dissipated into a fog in such a beautiful way. The Neptune's Nectar was incredible, one of the best cocktails I have ever had! The Watermelon Wave was so refreshing, with a fresh Watermelon. The Lava Cake (complete with cherries inside) was just incredible. The perfect blend of chocolate and cherries. The Flambé Banana Foster with a Beignet is a true stand out. You can't pass it up!

I loved dinner here! The whole vibe is just inviting and modern and the colors are great. They had a live DJ too, which was cool. The service was attentive and friendly and the food was SO good. We had the spicy yellowtail crispy rice which I HIGHLY recommend and the surf & turf was drool-worthy. This is definitely a good place to go for a night out, date night, etc. Will be back again for sure!

Music was way too loud, gave me a headache. Had to almost shout to be heard across the table.

Delicious food but very small portions for entree cioppino, for the price it could have had a few more pieces of fish, I’d suggest at least 3 shrimp and 2 scallops with all the other goodies. Caesar salad delicious and big. Double pork chop was cooked to perfection. Truffle pasta was very tasty!

Granted, it was only the first couple weeks of service. We felt for the money, it definitely wan't worth it. 2 entrees, 2 apps, & 1 bottle of wine was over $300. Lobter Bisque was lukewarm and so was the Cioppino. It is a cool space, so hopefully they will be able to get it all on track soon. It's not who comes to the restaurant to eat once, it is who returns for subsequent visits.
