Food is horrible! Do not recommend and it wasn’t cheap. The deck is very pretty but we were starving and disappointed.

Went for dinner to celebrate a birthday on Saturday at 8:30pm. The place was close to empty. Was handed a plastic menu, and noted the wine list was worse than poor. My boyfriend asked to use the restroom, and was told they weren't working. He was escorted up to a room the 4th floor of the hotel where others entered for the same purpose. It was very strange. Between the very poor drink selection and the restroom experience, we decided we were better options. We called an uber and headed to Smith & Wollensky. More traditional than we had planned for, but the view was great, and the drink menu far more extensive. Did I mention that in the 10 minutes it took for my partner to use the restroom at Salt, not one person stopped by to offer a drink or water?

The grilled octopus salad for lunch was amazing. Octopus over endive and in gazpacho sauce was a combination I didn’t know I would crave. 5 stars
