Went there for a Saturday night date night. The place was crowded but not full. Aside from some rambunctious kids at the table behind us, the noise level was actually pretty tolerable. Wine selection was a little limited as compared to other places but we tried a red blend which was actually pretty good. The menu had a variety of foods from smash burgers to wagyu steak. Their prices were moderate but the food was great! Their fish and chips were the best I've ever had. My girlfriend order the lobster roll which she loved. For dessert we shared the chocolate nocciola which was rich and very chocolatey. Our server was Rachel and she was very attentive and prompt. Parking can be a problem at the Riviera but we got lucky and found a spot right away. We enjoyed this place so much we added it to our rotation...

Salt and Pearl is a great place to eat in the heart of the South Redondo village. The food and service are always A+ and the bartenders mix great drinks. You won't be disappointed.

Food and service was great. Outdoor patio area tables are close together making conversations at nearby tables an issue if the party is loud. Otherwise a great place for a date.

Absolutely amazing dining experience. The Yorkshire pudding was like sex in your mouth. The drinks were delicious! The seafood chowder was the best I’ve had and my husband enjoyed his Connecticut lobster roll with frites. The BBQ oysters were a pleasant surprise! Definitely coming back. Service was exceptional.

Food was phenomenal. My wife had the Maine lobster roll, I had the albacore. Oysters for apps. Two problems - the acoustics were such that we heard every word from every conversation around us and…. The outside tables are oriented such that you are staring at people getting pedicures at the salon next door. Not exactly…. date night fodder, LOL. Server was exceptional as well. Affable, knowledgeable, checked in just the right amount, made some great suggestions on cocktails and oysters, knew the menu.

This has to be one of the most overrated places in the South Bay. My wife and I went to lunch to celebrate my birthday. This was an utter disappointment. We started out with 1/2 dozen oysters. They weren't bad but nothing special. My wife had the clam chowder, which was pretty good. I had the beet salad and it was tasteless. It felt like I was eating canned beets on arugula with some crushed pistachios on top. There was not contrasting taste (goat cheese, dressing, etc) to it at all. My wife got the Maine lobster roll, which was also decent. The fries that came with it were the best thing the whole day. After both servers convinced me that their favorite item was the Togarashi Albacore with Ponzu Sauce, I tried it. I love sushi and Japanese dishes. This was awful. I could not even finish it because I just hated the taste of it. After spending $180, I felt very disappointed in our meal. I saw some of what other people ordered and it looks like the sandwiches are the way to go but then why spend so much. Disappointed that I wasted my $$ and my birthday celebration here. Glad I didn't come for dinner or it would have cost more. The food is not worth the cost.
