The food was delicious and well prepared. The hostess sat us in the bar when we had asked for the main dining, but the manager fixed that. The singer was awesome, after dinner we sat at the bar to enjoy more of his tunes. Overall a good experience, except it seems they have a hard time keeping staff.

After drink and app orders we were immediately asked to order mains and then again a few minutes later. Once we finally did order we were basically ignored. No water refills, no how is everything. Mains were all wrong like wrong sides, sauce when none was the request. Started bussing the table while we were still eating. Basically hurry to consume a poorly served meal and then get out. Additionally we set outside. Despite a somewhat cool and breezy night, no heaters were available due to a perprual electrical issue. Probably perfect for tourists not locals

Beer was hot. Chosen wine was not available. Needed more service personnel. Hostess was everywhere. Phone ringing off the hook. Last year was completely different.

We chose this restaurant because it was conveniently close to the pick up point for our Nights of Lights tour which would be at 9:30pm. We arrived at 7:30pm (exact time for our reservation) The reservation was originally made for 4 and there were 5 of us, we asked the hostess and she said there was no problem with that. After waiting 10 minutes standing at the door, where there was barely any room for people to walk, so we had to go out several times to let others out. Up to that point it seemed reasonable to me. We went up and the hostess herself half prepared the table for us because when we went up there were 4 empty tables where we fit perfectly but none were ready. We sat down at 8pm and until 8:45 when we complained to another waiter they didn't come to serve us, until then we didn't even have water on the table. We had to order everything together because we weren't going to have enough time. Then we had to complain to another person who seemed like some kind of boss and then she brought us some water at least. After a long time the food arrived, which was spectacular, the drinks were also very good but we couldn't have dessert because we didn't have time for our excursion. I know it's a difficult time, I know it must be difficult for them but the customers are not responsible and we shouldn't pay so much for a bad service. I'm very sorry to leave bad reviews but the truth is the service was terrible.

Nights of lights at Christmas time in St Augustine is a crazy time. Lots and lots of people riding the trolleys, and trying to eat dinner. Almost no parking so each dining establishment is very overloaded. We ordered the roast chicken, the catch of the day (halibut) and short rib. With two of the party having dairy issues and the kitchen being worked very hard, no gravy or sauces were provided due to the dairy sensitivities. This made two main courses a little dry, we have eaten here before and enjoyed it. It is a great location near to Ripleys and the trolley tour. A wonderful snowflake cocktail was offered as a speciality choice with rum. My wife really enjoyed it. At $19 though it was a little indulgent. Wines are available by the glass for $13-$14 so not too outrageous. In short any place in the city during this time is very busy. So come with a flexibile attitude and be thankful you got in. The wait staff are super busy also but made time for a brief chat with us. They are very friendly but overworked, and rhe check in desk is quite helpful. If you did not make a reservation the bar (over 21 only) has a full menu available. We would go again only when its a little quieter.

I was gonna write a long review about the subpar experience we had tonight, but im lazy so to sum it up: -hostess in training needs a LOT more training -Matt was a fantastic server who made the night great after the strange start! -From other reviews I’ve gathered this place is under new ownership/management or something, so until they get their crap together I would steer clear!

I used to love Saints-George. It had excellent cocktails and lovely food but it’s gone so downhill. The ingredients are now clearly cheap, the food is poorly executed, and the drinks are both boring and poorly conceived.
