Way back in 1975, the Sail Loft lit the fire for Steve Silverstein, who went on to open nearly 40 restaurants. Located in the quintessential seaside village of Padanaram, it was the neighborhood place where you could get a good (strong) drink, chef prepared comfort food and relax in a convivial atmosphere with familiar faces. The Sail Loft was everyone’s favorite place; it was a hangout where some came for food and others for drink.

When the Sail Loft became available in 2021, Steve jumped on the opportunity to take the wheel. Steve and his wife Judy transformed the Sail Loft into an elevated neighborhood restaurant with a distinct updated boatyard feel. The spot is nautical with a chef-driven yet approachable menu, a deep selection of spirts and an intriguing wine list. As with all of Silverstein’s places, while the food, drink and design are always top-notch, it is the warm hospitality that keeps ‘em coming back.

This was our third visit to the Sail Loft this restaurant is nestled in the heart of Padanaram Ma. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming the wait staff is awesome as was our server apologize I don’t remember her name. We ordered the Thai shrimp as an appetizer we have ordered this before it is our favorite dish. For entrees we ordered the fish and chips, baked Cod both were flavorful and delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a great meal and great atmosphere. We have definitely added the Sail Loft to our favorite places to dine.

What a wonderful evening, my husband and I had. It was our first time eating at your restaurant (a belated Valentine’s Day)The staff was amazing. Rugile was so nice and checked on us just enough 😊 the food was amazing my scallops were delicious and my husband loved his fish. Also, thank you so much for the dessert. It was very much appreciated and perfect when we got home we can’t wait to go back again. John and Tammy World

We have been enjoying this establishment for years, seen the changes and enjoyed them. The Bartenders, Waitstaff, Kitchen staff and Management team here always go above and beyond to make sure everyone enjoys their visit.

Our waiter was very outgoing and helpful. We sat outside because the noise level was too high inside I loved the blankets on the chairs We used them to warm our metal chairs Food good as usual

This was our first time there. We both loved the food, ambience and service. Our cups of chowder was hot, plentiful and delicious. My husband had chicken piccata and loved it! I had sole meuniere which was excellent. We will be back!
