   We arrived on time and immediately seated …. Greeted by our server Saleh with a smile …. Our server was very attentive and took care of our every need …. Our steak was perfect(porterhouse for two) and enjoyed our birthday dinner ….nice atmosphere..

   The server was great, and the host I think her name was Leah as well, but the pace of the food was terrible. Our forks and cups were dirty and disgusting, which I have photos of. My steak was supposed to be medium rare but arrived well done. When I had it remade, it came back rare. At that point, I just let it go, but the wait times were ridiculous—over 45 minutes for the initial order and another 25 minutes for the remake. At that point I kind of lost my appetite from waiting so long. The lamb chops were burnt, non enjoyable, and even after expressing our disappointment, nothing was done aside from remaking the steak and bringing another mac and cheese. The manager walked around the restaurant multiple times but never checked on our table and asked if everything was okay. We ended up spending nearly two hours there, and it just wasn’t worth it. Was supposed to be celebrating an anniversary but it certainly was bad and wanted it to be better. Came to Ruth Chris for fine dining but was that even received?

   Food was amazing as always, really appreciated the cute roses the ladies were handed. The inside was beautiful, not too noisy at all even for Valentine’s Day. Jonathan was a great server, pleasure to talk to as well. Very down to earth. That’s the kind of server we need!!

   The overall experience was okay with exception of the two black ladies who were checking us in. They were very rude. I arrived within my grace period as there was not enough parking available at the restaurant so we had to park all the way at the end of the property close to homegoods. The two ladies at the front desk were very rude and nasty and didn’t want to check us in. She rudely said I have to leave because I am late and I did call upfront to let them know if it was okay( I was only 7 minutes late due to parking ). She said yes. After going back and forth with her multiple times and upon asking if there is someone else I can speak with she said she can have me seated only by the bar. I told her I’ve a 2 year old, but yet she said it’s not her problem. We were seated in the corner of the bar area and it was freezing cold there. This is just a next step of unprofessionalism and not acceptable. The waitress and the manager were nice and good in their service.

   My wife and I dined there for Valentine's Day. The hostess presented my wife with a single rose before seating us which was very nice of her. They seated us in a very quiet area towards the rear dining space, which was beautiful however it was too quiet for us. We preferred a booth near the bar. The food selection was great. The food came out quickly and hot. Everything was tasty and delicious. The waitress was very attentive to us. Overall we had a great experience.

   This restaurant never disappoints. I've totally given up red meat - except for the Ruths Chris petit filet mignon. It's irresistible. Order the cremini mushrooms and a baked potato and it's a meal fit for royalty . Add to that -friendly and efficient service, grown up music, and a noise level that allows for grown up conversation - what more can anyone ask for?
